Absolutely terrific. And if I've learned one thing from all the DCS videos I've watched, in a Russian game you ought to choose Russian aircraft if you want to win. 😁

17:00 Your buddy was wrong about the F-18s. The legacy models were limited to 7.5 G’s not 6Gs and the newer superhornets are limited to 9Gs. With full A2A configs
@dadillman19 күн бұрын
Does that change with loadout?
@acheronianrose18 күн бұрын
F18C had 2 fuel pods, 4 missiles, in DCS, for whatever reason, even at full paddle, you can barely get to 7.5 G. Without paddle, in this config its limited to 6G without paddling, whether its wrong or right, game won't let you do it :P

@@acheronianrose I must’ve misunderstood I thought his friend was telling a fact about the F-18 irl

@@dadillman yeah, stress factors will change based on initial weight of the wing itself so the more weight you have on your wing the less you can pull before elastic deformation (wings bent too far under the stress of G forces to where they are permanently deformed)

Milsim = F-16 dogfighting with 2 bags?
@acheronianrose18 күн бұрын
Its a setup where, all planes have bags/missiles. IRL you would not drop everything as soon as you merge, there will be tactical reasons why you need to hold on to your payloads, this forces people to fight heavy, instead of the clean, low fuel dog fighting they are used to on DCS-D.
