Hey man, I love your videos (I’m subscribed). Can you upload your mission file you created with the “recon” mission WWII? The one where the Spitfire took “photos” as it flew over the target and the photos showed up on the screen with a click sound.

Russian icons make no sense for a NATO based coalition. The Draw Tool Icon Mod expands the NATO icon set to over 150+ authentic MIL STD 2525 and/or APP6 icons actually used in C2 and C4ISR mission planning systems. Available now at the DCS downloads section.

Hopefully they add all those icons to the base game also. It is his mission and if he wants Russian Icons for ease of use then go for it. Noting the amount of icons he had just on Taxi stuff I wouldnt have thought it was a milsim realism mission anyway.

As I explained when I BUILD missions I use Russian Icons for placing all my units as a preference, as it does not clutter the map and hence why in My icons in the box were displaying as the Russian variants. Hope that clears that up. Cheers.

Excellent mission builder info! I have not found a way to copy/paste draw objects - do you know if it is possible akin to being able to copy/paste units? I have tried shift/ctrl/alt clicking combos but no luck!

Any ways of keeping the text boxes small so F10 screen doesnt look like a gongshow when zooming out...?

can i use triggers to show or hide stuff while in game? so for example i fly through a trigger and then a drawing appears for the blue faction?

I have a question do you have a video that you can make a random spawning tasking. I'm trying to make a MP mission for my friend and me to fly. I'm trying to use the Croc Hunting mission as a template, but I'm having a hard time getting my random taskings to trigger when I am ready for the taskings. Also if there is a way to set up an EOM option via Radio to end that current tasking. The problem I'm having is that once I enter the on station trigger which says contact another unit for taskings. Once I hit the Unit AO trigger all the tasking becomes active once I report on station. then When I fly over that tasking TZ it triggers that tasking and any other that has an overlapping TZ. If there any way you can help me out it would make my day.

Thank you for the insight, Sunts! Do you (or anyone else reading) know if these markers are copyable between missions, or at least exportable as a template (if I want the same marker set as a template)? I presume if desperate there will be code in the MIZ file one can copy to their new mission?
