The SU33/27 and J11A have almost a 100% chance of neutralizing the Patriot site (if you can spot it's radar system and CC module) The F15 has only a 1/4 chance of penetrating an S300's airspace but it is much easier to spot the S300's radar and tracking towers and to take it out with the cannons. Haven't tried it with the F18's 9Xs, will post a video about it shortly.

For the record, a couple things in this simulation are not quite realistic. - A high-end AA site like Patriot or S-300 would be protected by several MANPADS or AAA batteries for close protection - A 100% fragrate against those incoming missiles is quite unlikely. - An air defense system would launch multiple missiles at once to severely reduce the chances of evasion and to overwhelm any counter-measures.

In order to reach the site You can also fly low level without waste any R-73, the problem, as someone said, is AAA, you can try to add some vulcan or avenger and the result will certainly change!

Haha, Oil tankers are actually a harder target to hit. You've got to deal with the wind as well as a moving target.

Yes, in DCS they modeled the missiles to be tracked by IR sensors and radar too if the RCS was big enough

I tried this against SA6s and could not do it, my vertical scan just wouldn't pick them up to fire the R73s.

The Su-30Mk series and Su-35 are the ones with LCD. The Su-33 initially known as the Su-27k, is an upgraded version of the Su-27, still uses the same avionics. Check Wikipedia for more infos.
