3:45 His only mistake was not changing the fight into a one circle fight and keeping the 2 circle fight, so giving you the advantage and not forcing your overshooting. He only needed to perform a barrel roll out of your gun envelope and use your Energy against you (Dora is a brick in turning terms against Mustang). Also your team mate helped to put more pressure on his decisions. 2 vs 1 on deck = already dead sitting duck. But a really nice "knive in the teeth" dogfight after all 👍👍👍👍👍. You got an A+ and your team mate got a D-, but he unfairly scored the kill: Nothing new under the MP servers suns... 😉.

Yes, you are correct. That is why I love fighting mustang on the D9 because it really represents a challenge in the knife fight, but also in this escenary I was with the advantage for the rate fight but if we were equal at energy he would have been able to outrate me. I also did a couple of mistakes, which I could have turned the fight around early. Since the D9 is much better on the vertical and I gained a small energy advantage on him early on.

The pony pilot was a total noob. Missed several clear kill shots and didn't chop his throttle in the rolling scissors, which would have presented him with a shot.

I know you said I was not fun but I would extend a bit at deck and exploit the climb rate, nothing p47 can do down there. Love your cinematic videos man, the first one, I got goosebumps in the dive to the spitfire, the engine sound from the external camera is just... MMM!

Yes , you actually correct. Not only against the P47 but in the other two fights, I did a couple of mistakes, which I got lucky to survive . In any other circumstances like the 1L event, I would have flown much smarter and more careful, but for the sake of the video, I'm forced to take risks in order to capture good dogfight scenes. This ended in me making mistakes and dying. But still, I get a lot of fun with those fights regardless of the results. I'm glad you like the videos, Im planning to mix this style of cinematic with fov videos . The issue is that a lot of good fights get lost due to files getting corrupted. Hopefully, in the future, DCs provides a better replay system.

Nice video! I wish DCS had better scoring. If I get shot and don't make it to a friendly airfield, that should be a kill. Also, I can't believe it's not possible to adjust convergence for wing guns. The Spitfire's cannons are way too close in, for example.

Did you use MW50?

Only in specific occasions, such as chasing the P51 or creating distance from the spitfire. But during tight turns, it's dangerous to use. At least I always experience engine damage during tight turns while using mw50.
