Great information. I like how you test things out, and you seem to give us your honest opinion, no gimmick

I use the Marpol C106 pink bar regularly for my first cut on aluminum. I actually switched to it from Menzerna 439T. Its a little greasy but not like the Menzerna 439T which is extremely greasy. Never tried the yellow jackson lee, i believe the yellow is can be used as a one step

Hi this is Joe Chevalier I like and watch a lot of your your videos and I've been doing polishing for couple years now and I'm starting on a lumina box dump truck it has some clear coat on it now I'm just wondering what grit and all that I should do with it I talked to you before and year ago so you help me out quite a bit and I did a airstream with your help it turned out beautiful I trust your word and then most of these other I really appreciate it

Hey Joe, I’m pretty sure I remember you! If the whole box has a clear… 🤯😩 you’ll need to strip it first or if you want to sand… test what works, I normally use 180 to remove coatings… but if you can get away with starting at 320 on something that size it will save you lots of time… I hope that made sense. Thanks for watching

Great video Dennis, have you tried the green heavy cut Marpol? I’ve sanded to 800, cut with the Marpol purple pad/ green cut bar(C64???) rake my pad and do a quick dry pass…. I find it to be a great finish, for a quick single stage polish, a quick pass with their flannel and super gloss (finish) bar, happy clients all day long. So many variations of bars and pads to use, comparison vids could go on for days LOL!!! Love watching you video! Great work!!!

Hey Robert, did you mean the C94??? If yes, I have used it and it’s good but not great for my style of polishing. And yes absolutely battle of the bars could go on for quite a while! I’m just trying to do the more popular brands and bars… :) Thanks for watching!

I like Marpol's bars specifically the C106 pink bar and Volax finish blue bar. I use to be all about Menzerna but Marpol works better for me. I will try the C94 green bar with one of my 10" Marpol purple wheels too

Another great video Denny. Question for ya. What would you use just to touch up on wheels and tanks? Truck washes are pretty tough especially tanks with scratches. Thanks
@DCSuperShine2 жыл бұрын
Depends on how bad the scratches are. If they are light often you can get them out with liquid metal polish. If they are more pronounced then polishing by machine might be need… sometimes even sanding again. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!

They make gloves for aircraft riveting that are padded to handle the vibration.
@rtz5492 жыл бұрын
On that polisher, undo the 4 big bolts on the aluminum end. You can add grease to the ring and pinion in there to make it more quiet and run more smooth/less vibration.

Has nothing to do with the grinder. It’s the pads! All good I won’t be using those pads anymore. I have my own now :)
@markhutchinson84742 жыл бұрын
Yeah guy you're full of shit and it also causes a huge mess and it will have nothing to do with vibration crazy statement from a guy that doesn't do it everyday
@HPAcustomriflesandcerakote2 жыл бұрын
Thats exactly what i do to my polishers. It will make any polisher run quieter and not heat up so much. Hell most grease from the factory in them looks like its just vasoline. I get all that out, clean it good with carb/choke cleaner then i load it up with Castrol Pyroplex Blue high temp grease or what i really like is Chevron Delo blue grease. Regreasing a polisher with quality grease is an excellent tip for anyone

How do they compare to Menszerna? SS polishing videos would be nice
