DCUO: Playing on Two Servers for Play Station

I am very sorry for some of the information being repeated, I was trying to make sure I didn’t miss anything… I was unsuccessful and missed the following: When you log into the new server through your pre-existing account… any character slot purchases are open on both servers, but membership character slots are only on the initial server for your account. Your Ally Favor and Replay Badges are also considered account currency which means it acts the same as the Fate and Destiny tokens and is the same pool for all characters from both servers.

Hello!! First, it's nice to see you! I have been playing DCUO since 2012 on PC games, on the EU server. But since 2023 I switched to the US server due to the very low viewership in the European one. I miss my main character there, but there are a lot more people playing on the American server. Luckily on PC you can also switch servers. Congratulations on your videos, I'm glad to see channels dedicated to DCUO 😉

You will have all the character slots you have paid for, negating all membership ones. Yes, you can unlock all feats you have accomplished from US with replay badges in EU. All styles from your US account can be unlocked with replay badges on EU except ones like Christmas/Valentines that you have to repurchase per each character anyway 😁👍

I tried making a EU account. But for some reason when I made the EU PSN account I was still on the US server. I couldn't download dcuo again.

Did you set everything on the PS to whatever place you chose for your EU access location so that the PS store was accessing the different location?

@ThatGirlFromAU yeah everything was set EU. The currency was In EU on the PS store. But I couldn't download dcuo it was already on the PS5 from my US account. New account. UK address New email obviously. So I'm at a loss idk why it didn't work. My PS sees it has a DCUO how'd you get around that?

@Shadow497 I didn't have to get around it. As soon as those settings are on Aus and US respectively I could access both stores with different DCUO downloadable. It just automatically occurred like I showed in my video... I can still access both PS stores (AUS and PS) depending which account I am on. Only thing I can think of is maybe PS5 does not work the same as PS4... but I would have thought, since PS5 are accessing the PS4 game, that it would have worked the same way and access both, at least until PS5 has its own DCUO.

@ThatGirlFromAU I'm on the PS5 too. I can access the EU store on the EU account and the US store on the US account I just can't download DCUO from the EU account. Since it's already on the ps5. It just opens it. I got on and made a toon but it's still on the US side. So even the EU psn has me on the US server still. I was hoping to make an EU account to use the cr skip but I guess it's not happening.

@@Shadow497 I am so sorry, I am not sure what the issue could be other than the PS5 functioning differently from the PS4 in how it recognises the game, thinking it already has the game downloaded and will not allow it twice. I wish I could be more help 😔

You can if you use two separate accounts, but then you cannot access every purchase from Maketplace between them. You'd have to buy twice.

I created a new user on my PS5 (alone with a new email address). When I switched, DCUO was already there. No need to download it again. When I entered the game, it showed I am free to play. So I bought membership using the PSN Store (this was a total of $16.00) However, when I enter the game, it still shows as Free to Play. Any suggestions?

Was the new user set to a different location who would access a different server? If so... you would need to download the different DCUO game again as this is likely where the membership has gone.

@@ThatGirlFromAU Thank you for your reply. So my main account is EU as I am from South Africa. The new user account is set to USA. When I bought the membership it showed up in $. So I played around and now DCUO is downloading on the new user account. I hope the membership that I bought will be on this account. Because I checked my Payment and Subscriptions - Game and App Services, and it shows DCCO 30 Day Membership with a different renewal date as to my main account.

My league is called "Shadow of Justice". It includes my From Scratch characters, which means I have to be very careful how I use the League and make sure I use the storage for my scratch characters to show people how they can use the League storage to help their characters in FTP but I think you'd be careful if I asked you to. I do not even have a league hall yet 🤭 We should plan a time to be on together and I'll invite you... if you don't mind being in a very limited league (at least at the start).
