the problem with the community and tanking, is they all just act like every power has the same tanking mechanics. They Don't. Fire is self healing and only one shield, so an art like manacles is a good addition, with its extra healing and reduced cooldown of a shield. But that's useless if you're an ice tank. Ice would benefit more from Circe mask, since ice is constantly rotating shields and has no self heal, then the increased healing from the art when shields break helps alot. i think that was the intention with the arts, to alleviate the down side of each tank power. That's what i came looking for when i found your vid. im an earth tank trying to figure out what are the best arts for earth to cover its failings. If you choose to ever make another tank tutorial, maybe explain why a perticular art is beneficial to a perticular tank power. Keep up the good work

I’ve been every tank power and done E and plus many times. I’ve explained many times about manacles I’ve prolly didn’t go much into detail this video but I did the next video. Manacles is never a good art, I would never post something 1 power specific, and every tank power works differently I agree with you on that. I was earth rage atomic ice fire I’ve done it all. Your reasoning on manacles being good is false I think I went over that in this video. A shield cooldown by 10% is only 1-2 seconds maybe 3 which makes no difference, yes fire has 1 shield that’s why you add in hard light shield obviously. And bc fire has 1 shield and low defense what makes up for it is the def buff by 60-65% on. Burning enemies which the pull puts that p.i for you. Fire also has 50% healing received and the highest health pool. So even even you don’t have shield you shouldn’t ever died unless you’re straight up bad. Fire tanks can even run no shield loadouts due to absorb heat but I’m not so sure now bc it got nerfed. Even without absorb you’re fine with 2 shields. So what you said was completely false, and the immediate cooldown shield is a scam bc the you’re gonna be taking the damage from manacles and it willl eat right through your shield and manacles is USELESS FOR FIRE BC IT ONLY RESETS THE MAIN SHIELD, What’s it called? Immolation or sum like that. It’s a weak shield it’s not even a solid shield. So even if you WERE to use manacles at least be a solid shield power and even then the artifact is 100% useless you just spouted a bunch of nonsense brother respectfully. The artifact only works for 5 seconds, and every cute ability that comes with it goes away after that 5 seconds. On top of that it has a HUGE 45 second cooldown. There’s just no way you can lie to yourself thinking it’s a good art. That’s like someone saying gem of Horus is op for dps . Every tank power has and needs the same artifacts. Yes it has different functions, but that has nothing to do with artifacts. You’re just ignorantly speaking. I’ve done everything with every power , I’ve done dabbled with everything in the game been playing for 13 years so Ik what I’m talking about.

I personally have done a lot of testing since my return to the game and I can say we similar beliefs when it comes to tank artifacts. If you ever want another tank to bounce ideas off of hit me up (Galactic Spartan) the tank community needs to be built back up....good video.

Does Circe’s Mask still work well with Gemstone Shield? I remember you mentioned that in your previous video. Also, does Ebon Artifact work very well with Atomic? Since atomic is constantly spamming superpowers to keep the shield up?

Sorry for late response KZbin for some reason doesn’t show me notifications I have to manually check myself. To answer your question yeah, I don’t think that glitch haven’t been patched yet idk but generally circe mask in general works with everything. Just with earth it’s infinite with gemstone shield. My friend showed it to me, to answer your second part yes. You’ll be spamming pulls n stuff regardless so yes, just when you get that huge purple skull you have to start swapping. Because your power will drop big time but it won’t be that bad. Totally worth it

No, it works with every tank power. How it works is when you lose health (getting hit taking damage), a portion of your health is converted to your defense

We have our different opinions,but no one can convince me manacles is a great tank artifact without a detail factual review. I used to think it was good bc that’s what everybody was saying. It was a “he say she Say” thing, I’m an elite player I’ve done and tanked about everything and tested a million times before I even had ideas of making a video. And I’m telling you manacles is not a good tank artifact. It is the worst in fact. A day or 2 ago some other guy commented saying about the same thing, and I told him the same thing I said in the video and telling you and he deleted his comment so idk what’s that about. But I appreciate you sharing your viewpoint of the artifact. Great discussion 😎

I do agree as dire your heal is dropping often as well as fire has a weak shield so you'll get the shield back as well as that damage being delt over time so you can heal it back
