Back when we had an Omni running on commercial LPG cylinder, there used to be a heating pad that maintained the temperature of the cylinder, may be you can get something of that sort to keep diesel warm. You can use it only when needed.

Veerey - I love your videos but also worry about you. Just sharing couple of things that I employ in winters: 1. An engine block heater 2. Diesal additives to stop diesal from gelling up 3. take over precaution with use of 4wd and chains. If situation demands 4 wd, then better use 4wd+chains. One mistka can be fatal in these conditions. IMO I wont have went up that hill without 4wd and chains 4. snow rated tires
