Came out today to do a diagnostic on a 2016 freightliner Cascadia
Detroit dd15 engine
If you Google fault it says acceleration pedal voltage drop,
There’s a lot of sensors tied into same system on these trucks easy to confuse yourself and the ddl Detroit diagnostic troubleshooting did not help in this case
Be sure to double check your connectors
And if you must verify the voltages to every sensor should be anywhere from 2v-5v (depending on what sensor)
Just to name a few that tie into the same system
•crank sen
•cam sen
•acceleration pedal
•oil pressure
•oil temp
• coolant temp
•water pum
•fuel temp
Very easy to get lost disconnect each sensor 1 by 1 till light goes away
Or use a credible source when hiring someone,
