DD15 DD13 turbo waste-gate solenoid, VPOD, actuator removal and install.

Tools needed,
17mm wrench
13mm shallow socket
Long extension
Ratchet 1/4 or 3/8 whatever sockets you use
13mm deep socket
5mm Allen wrench or socket
Hose cutters
Needle nose pliers to pull out air line
Small screwdriver or pick

Will a bad waste gate cause spn 102 fmi 18 code low intake manifold pressure that comes and goes, we've changed sensors and check air charge for leaks

Yes it can, because if the wastegate opens prematurely or stays open it will release pressure that is suppose to be there.

Im having the same code/issue. Freightliner replaced my turbo $6500 & still having the same code. Thinking it was this instead
