@@detroitrebuildspecialist376 , hi Sir. I will kindly appreciate if you take time to answer me back on a question. What happens if the torque is increased on a dd15? What are the modifications in engine run or in electronic? My issue is that my engine vibrates (not shaking) very bad ,runs nice, is powerful but vibrates very bad on idle at 600 rpm even at increased rpm like 800 or upper. New injectors and quantity valve. Is this vibration coming out from spill timing modification because of the increased torque? My mechanic told me that the only thing he did was increasing the torque for more power (i didn't ask for, he said it was a bonus) but it shouldn't affect the engine running and creating vibrations. Thank you very much

Hi,I've got a question.Freightliner did an inframe stage 2 job on my DD15 , since they did it I've noticed my engine oil missing all the times, I mean have to ad a gallon after every 15K miles,,there is no leak at all,nothing.I have 150K Miles in it already,the engine runs good,everything looks fine, no codes whatever, so its really bothers me where the oil goes??? I talked to Freightliner earlier, when I've noticed that,they always says its normal!! Interesting,I guess its not. Any idea what could be wrong with my engine?

I heard from another shop that Detroit says you have to replace the head on a DD15 during an inframe instead of having it machined. Is that true, and what do you do with the head?

It’s true because dd15 head gasket is very thin, and I would recommend to buy brand new not rebuilt head if you can afford it or you will replacing it again 300-500k miles later
