I remember back in High School (this video JUST came out) when I first was supposed to play this piece on a stage - I listened to this edition over and over... Very well played - Inspired me for years :D Also many many greetings from the Balkans!

@@alandynin1087 Nice man! thanks for sharing! I played a faculty concert at the College here I taught at and we did Blue Rondo! We would feature different artists twice a year. Coltrane, Chick Corea, Monk, Brubeck etc. It was a great faculty Quintet. You brought back that memory for me hearing you and your band. As for the scene here in Phoenix there are a lot of really top rate fine players here and like everywhere things will be challenged now as we move ahead this year. I am from Boston and found more players around however wherever you are you will find the good jazz cats find each other . Best to you Alan! Keep swingin man!

@@alfredomarquez9777 I’m an artist for the Earthworks company! I have been using mine for years and I am so happy with it! I use it in everything I do! Such an easy set up the mic takes minutes to put in place and connect to zoom H4N! So all my recordings you hear I have recorded right to Zoom H4N. Edit in Final Cut Pro and piano sound is natural no effects ever added. Highly recommend!

That was my first thought, but I've not seen it that way on the fallboard. Usually it's 'Wm. Knabe & Co.' and not just 'Knabe' by itself. Sounds good.

Yes the piano is a 7ft Knabe and plays really well. It is in a top tier JAZZ CLUB in downtown Phoenix. The audio I used my Earthworks Professional Microphone on the grand. I am an ARTIST for the company. Wonderful product!
