Nice demonstration thanks. do you think this is suitable to operate just 1 axis for example x axis only. I have developed a machine which only has 1 axis currently driven by a pneumatic cylinder but I want better control of forward / return positioning, acc/dcc and inputs and outputs. I realise it is probably "over the top" in terms of functionality but the single axis controllers on the market are extremely difficult to operate for a non cnc person. That are your thought please.Thanks. John

Sure, it can do. but I would say it is a bit overkilled for 1 axis I recommend googling for CNC offline controllers

Can I simply set parameters for this single axis on the parameter page such as , set home: start, accelerate, run at a set speed and number of pulses to reach a specific distance, decelerate, stop, wait, run in reverse with or without acc/dccl back to home. All without using G-Code, only manipulation of the basis parameters. Thank you again. John

My system will not read T.nc when an M6 is executed. I put a T.nc on the USB drive, is that the correct location?

Hi If I remember correct it need to be in system memory, where you need to copy it from the usb to the system root. BUT the DDCS 3.1 does not support tool change.

@@weitlingD3P Yes I found that. I put a T.nc in the internal drive and that worked. It was probably supposed to be there, but mine did not have it. I found the internal files by accident, it is probably in the manual, I just never saw it.

Hello Martyn. when you home the router, it start move to the home switch. When activating the switch it automatic zerro out the axis.

Hello. I built a plasma without any thc or floating z with a ddcs 2.1 controller. When I program in fusion 360 the machine moves in elipse/oval instead of circle. But if i post g- code manually it moves in perfect circle. I used mach3 plasma postprocessor in fusion. The g-code posted from fusion has relative coordinates i..j.. But in case of manual coding i only used x y z codes. Is there any setting in ddcs to recognize relative cordinates? Or is there any alternative solution?

Hello Robert The tool length offsets are not working in the DDCS V 3.1 This is implemented for a future update of the firmware.

Hello I think this must be the G0 speed . If you go to line 80 you will find G0 Speed. Enter 1500 unit/min Hope this solve the problem

@D3P I actually found a 2021 update on the ddcs forum with xyz probing. I wanted a probing cycle to find the center of a workpiece, and i was wondering if it comes with the update, but it doesn't. So now i am trying to write my own macro.

Switch DDCS parameter for DIR frequency from Low to High - or switch your DIR pins around on the driver
