DDR Solo BASS MIX: MANIAC ULTIMATE Mode play (+ Extra Stage)

After showing the activation code for Maniac Mode in Solo BASS MIX and playing a round in it in the last video, I wanted to show you an option in that mode called Maniac Ultimate, where you play on Maniac, but with a green song select background, and 3 life points instead of 6 in gameplay, and you start with just 1 point.
Another thing I wanted to show you is that Solo BASS MIX has an Extra Stage feature, accessed by playing either PARANOiA EVOLUTION, SUPER STAR, or HYSTERIA in the Final Stage, ending it with both a Full Gauge and at least 150 combo, then at the Cleared message, pressing the Left button. When you're in Extra Stage, you're forced to play on Maniac Ultimate if you're playing on Regular Mode, and the song select is on Roulette.

I noticed you don't lose a point on a "Good" step and only on "Miss" steps

I'm glad it does, considering how much the life gauge system looks like the battery in future games, and that I'm notoriously getting Goods a lot when playing DDR in emulators.

I guess so. Only that you start with a low gauge and you can fill it up as you play. I phrased the text wrong. Sorry for that.

@@mondaybear21 it seems to be a hybrid between RISKY and LIFE4. You begin with a "RISKY" bar, but can recover it to "LIFE3" by playing well, missing will drop you a bar, and two "BOO"s before dropping a bar.
