I do that sometimes too. Starting a drill cold makes me rush but pre-drilling can fix that. Tricky to get right though

I have to do that too sometimes when I want to take my speed up to what's needed (eg, adding a triplet before the VDO stream, playing 8ths and adding 16th triplets before the Neutrino ending). Still sometimes doesn't work so it depends on the case. Best way to handle this is by already being warm. Never warm up with an 18 xD
