I think the BAD existed before, but it was too large and unstable at the time the DDTs were fully developed so the bloons ended up using only the DDTs in BMC. In the MOAB Graveyard, you can see a very large purple-ish bloon. I think this was possibly a previous BAD prototype.

Bloon’s actually have a reason for reaching the nonexistent exit. In btd5 flash, one of the messages says that if you were a bloon, wouldn’t you rather get popped than slowly leak and wither away? This indicates that bloons have feelings and can think for themselves. So there are two possibilities. 1. The bloon’s gal is to actually get popped 2. The bloon’s. Goal is to wither away at the nonexistent exit.
