Disagree with this premise. Castle's decision making is already pretty good man. Having a 6'6 athletic wing who actually can play point well is a luxury. He's more pass first than Fox, and can already probably run the pick and roll better. Keep them learning from Paul this year, and maybe next if he wants to come back. You're not in win now mode yet anyway this year. Fox isn't the best fit, you give up most of your good assets, and you lose a lot of learning for your young players that remain. Which would probably only be Wemby and either Vassell or Keldon Johnson. If I'm Sacramento, I want Castle for sure. Spurs shouldn't let him go for Fox, let alone any near future lottery-mid 1st Rounders. I love Fox, but this makes little sense for the Spurs

As a spurs fan, I’m good on the fox trade. Hell of a player, and a good fit, but neither the timing or the price is right. Would feel rushed kinda like when the Mavs immediately bought in after getting Luka and are now paying the price for it. Imo SA needs a bucket getting SF (think Brandon Ingram, ace bailey), that would allow the future lineup to be castle,vassell,SF,Sochan, Wemby. Which imo is much better than being forced to slide vassell to the 3
