De-dragging is almost more amazing than seeing drag being put on (not of course to minimize the amazingness that is make up) just because it's so... intimate, and human to see that amazing illusion being shed and the relief at being able to get out of hair and makeup lol.

Please please please follow up with a moisturiser. The cleansing you’re doing could potentially be very drying depending on what products you use and if you don’t moisturise enough your skin is gonna start producing a lot more sebum and make you break out. Moisturiser skin is also a great base before primer to last you the day.

I’ve seen that several people have said she uses ‘expensive’ face products to, but from my point of view I was really surprised at the relative inexpensiveness of the routine. Their are many many higher priced products to select from, a really high end oil based cleanser is one of the things I would defo add.

There are so many people saying that she uses so many products ... and then here we are the lovers of the Korean beauty routine with our 10 steps. xD A tip: the products should be used from the lightest to the densest consistency. the cream is the last thing you should use, right after the eye cream. in this order: 1 make-up remover, 2 cleanser, 3 scrub (if you need it, 1 or 2 times a week), 4 toner, 5 sheet mask (optional), 6 essence, 7 serum, 8 eye cream, 9 moisturizer, 10 night mask (if you go to sleep) / sun protection (if you are going out)

It's fascinating to see your character change from Violet to Paul as you take off your make-up. By the end you become far more playful, less strict Domme and more relaxed and loose. I get it, I was a pro-domme for several years and have been in my private life for 25 years now. It's a character you embody, that changes how you sit, stand, walk, talk, think, emote, it's a fabulous way to be a different person for awhile. One tip, look after your feet. At 40 I still love my corsets but I gave up wearing heels to walk in over a decade ago. Your knees, hips and foot bones are going to hate you in 20 years. One thing I was taught was to wrap my feet, from a ballet dancer friend who was also a Do me. It really help to reduce pinching, blisters, add padding to the ball of each foot and the arch. Same with using a good corset liner. I had my own corset making business for 15 years, made every kind of custom corset you can think of. Corset liners of cotton jersey or silk jersey prolong the life of your corset, as well as make them more comfortable to wear over many hours. Absorbs the sweat, reduces the marking or bruising on your skin, pads against the boning a little so it stays comfortable to wear for longer etc. I've seen many of your corsets, you have some beautiful pieces. I'm especially pleased to see how many you have with hand-stitched flossing holding the corset boning in place. You can double the lifespan of a corset by using flossing combined with really good top and bottom binding. I'm looking forward to more of your videos during our current excitements, always up for a wardrobe tour!

Instead of judging her routine lets just say products that WE use. Neautragena make up wipes, neutragena foaming make up remover and aquaphor ointment all over the face will give u the most supple moisturized face in the morning. Unless u are oily or acne prone (me in summer) it might break u out. Loved this vid

Violet is a gorgeous, classy drag queen....seeing the make-up coming off is therapeutic, almost like an ASMR vid....However, the guy underneath it all is handsome.....Violent is one of my favourites x

V soooooo much tugging at your skin! Have you ever tried to break up the makeup with a balm? Clinique makes take the day off, I swear buy it. You are perfection. I just bought your striptease candle can’t wait!

OK. So Violet, you do you boo...but nobody should use a foaming cleanser to remove makeup. IMO for heavy duty drag makeup cold cream or Albolene (Trixie Mattel uses this) is fantastic. After that it is fine to go in with your facial cleanser of choice foaming or non foaming x

Its really good to double cleanse, an oil cleanser (NOT coconut oil) will get your glitter and makeup off super fast and then go in with the cleanse foam because the normal cleanser wont remove all the makeup

It’s amazing how much goes into getting into drag. The process from putting makeup and wigs on to taking it off, to their wardrobe and the inspirations fails to fascinate and amaze me. With that said, Violet is one of my fave queens! ❤️

god, I really haven't seen worse skincare routine, she doesn’t know how to remove makeup, doesn’t know what she’s putting on her face, she is just really rough it’s killing me. Also like, she robbed her face off with a towel and was still wondering why she was breaking out on that side, jesus!

A cleansing oil or balm works wonders in removing heavy makeup. After the balm or oil, cleanse again with a foaming cleanser. It REALLY saves your skin from unnecessary pulling and tugging with the towel. Just a suggestion for the people out there.

I honestly would have thought you would have used a cleansing oil or a cleansing balm, sth less drying that you could work on the skin without it drying off so you'd have enough time for the cleanser to break down all the makeup and glue and all.

try an 'oil cleanser' before the cleanser you use in this video. A 'Double Cleanse' will not only help with removing the makeup but also with overall skin care.
