I LOVE both the scents and the exfoliation that Tree Hut body scrubs provide. I love both their scrubs & body washes. The Dove body scrubs smell super good but I feel that the beads are far too tiny/gentle to get a good exfoliation. We all just clearly like what we like, and that is what makes the world go ‘round. I really enjoy your videos and most always agree with your recommendations.

Ksenja, you can "influence" me any day because you are always honest and sincere. Shea butter is the "secret" ingredient in most of the l'occitane products, and in my opinion, it's overpriced.

I set my aluminum free deodorant with dusting powder (lush has good ones) after I have applied the deodorant. Works fabulously. Normally I dont need to re apply but if it is super hot summer... To re apply then....I use a baby wipe with witchazel to cleanse then deodorant/dusting powder again Currently I use SDJ 62 deodorant. Also maybe your L'occitane shower oil is rancid?!🤷🏼‍♀️ Great video TY

Hi Ksenja, I wanted to say something regarding the L'Occitane shower oil. Maybe I misunderstood your explanation, but it seems to me like you use it as a body oil. But it is actually a shower gel, not an in-shower oil. You should basically use it as a body wash. Of course if you dont like the scent, this will not solve the problem :D but I just wanted to let you know. Aplogies if I misunderstood what you said

I need to use another exfoliating tool when using my dove scrubs. My skin feels exactly the same when I get out of the shower if I don’t use that extra tool. The treehut scrubs are to die for (IMO) especially for feet/ legs / underarms!

The L'Occitane Shea Butter shower oil is a much nicer scent to the Almonde one! The scent actually reminds me of Johnson's baby oil 😊 Its lovely though, so hydrating and only lightly scented.

Oh I like L’Occitane almond shower oil. I don’t dislike the scent but then again I don’t have a dog 😂 🐕. I feel super clean and moisturized after I use it but I am an old lady with really dry skin 😅. I did not like the Tatcha dewy skin cream either. Tried through Ipsy so didn’t spend lots to find that out. I love the Elemis Pro Collogen skin cream but it is quite expensive also 😢. Thanks for your honesty as always ❤

I totally agree with the L’Occitane Wet dog smell!! I googled it and others do as well- it’s crazy! I’m like you I want to use it because it was expensive. I’ve tried mixing it in with other stuff and I still smell it- going to try some others I’ve gotten to see if it will cover that smell!

If you haven't tried Native deodorant in their Vanilla & Sandalwood scent, do. That's all it smells like, vanilla and sandalwood, and it lasts all day. It won't stop you aweating (no aluminum), but you'll smell great while you do. I ❤ it because it works with every perfume I own, too. 🙂

I used to have the same problem as you when it came to deodorants and I would only use aluminum ones but then i was out with a friend and we ended up talking about that topic. He told me his dad used to work at a bank and it was like a super high priority of his to not sweat or stink up the room haha. First of all you have to look for deodorants that say 'anti-perspirant' or 'anti-transpirant'. Then apply that deodorant directly after showering or bathing or whatever. just apply it on clean skin. It is of no use to you when you already sweated before or the bacteria have already had a field day accumulating. After that you should be fine. I bought one directly after speaking to my friend and it worked!!! I can't stress this enough because I used to suffer from sweating a lot on non aluminium deodorants.

I’ve always been a treehut scrub girlie, 😂 but recently I’ve converted to Dove and I don’t think I can go back. Dove’s brown sugar and coconut butter scrub is so delicious, smells like cookie batter to me and I just wanna gobble it up. 🤣 If you love gourmand scents, it’s a must have.

I never got that scent with the loccitane oil lol 😂 I love the almond line, it’s the only line I’ll buy from them. It just smells like clean almonds with warm vanilla. I do get wet dog smell from Dulce by Rosiejane though 😅

Have you tried a salt stick as deodorant? I was actually influenced by Jaclyn Hill (who I can’t deal with anymore after her lipsticks) but the line that sold me was “it doesn’t have to be the one I’m using-ANY salt stick. They work!” It actually works. Just leave it in your bathroom and wet it, apply, good to go. The Saltair deodorant is pretty good too and it has skincare ingredients.

The Tree Hut scrubs are better for my feet. The Dove ones are perfect for all over my body. I just got some from Bath and Body Works after their sale and I love the glow ones for the texture.

I love salt and stone deo sticks and have been a constant repurchase, Bergamot and hinoki was least performing scent in their line for me too. I would recommend trying Santal vetiver or black rose oud once…

That L’Occitane shower oil made me smell like a My Little Pony doll or some other type of plastic toy, I literally returned it the next day. Glad I’m not the only one who didn’t like the scent

Yes I got the salt and stone santal and Vetiver body mist and was upset it smells like Santal33. I thought from the commercial that it was going to smell like something so unusual and mind-blowing so I got something to the hype too

You are so right about the L'Occitane oil. I have been in denial for so long but yeah, the scent it leaves on your skin is plasticky and wet dog-y. Must be the almond (sometimes it does this, just like in Hypnotic Poison where it smells like play dough). Out of the bottle it smells great to me. Plus, I've realised that shower oils are dangerous to use 🤣

You can try the La Roche Posay shower oil instead. Not odor but almost work the same as the L’occitane one ( L’occitane is better 🤷🏻‍♀️).

Can you do the deodorant you’ve tried with ones that work and what doesn’t. I use Nivea spray but it has to be the Mexican version. I also like the Lume one. They have a new spray version and wonder how that one is. But I’d have to try it during the summer though. And one last thing I get a reaction from baking soda based deodorants 😢

hey, i think that shea moisture scrub became hard because it has coconut oil in it. coconut oil solidifies in colder weather.

The L'Occitane almond oil made me break out in a rash. I am allergic to it. I have been using a Bath and Body Moxy body scrub. It's unscented and it really seems to do the job. I also have very dry skin.

Yeah, People should choose the kind of product that works for them, rather than falling into the hype type and wasting all their money when there are in fact better products out there. Also, yes do more, ‘ negative’ videos because those are always fun to watch… it’s also low-key kind of fun to watch people in the comment section getting pissed about those perfumes being bashed 😂 Also one last thing that I’ve been wanting to say for a while. Also most products for shower are activated by water so even though it might be sold in a jar, it's better not to scoop out with your fingers. It should be sold in tubes. ❤

The L'Occitane was such a disappointment to me but different reasons than yours. I didn't find it moistured at all, it just becomes like water and gone down the drain straight away, waste of money. I loved the smell lol. Since then, I have found much cheaper and better shower oil with Nivea.

Yes. The almond shower oil, does not lather, it does not smell nice and it did not hydrate my skin, personally. I’m glad I got it at the VIB Sephora sale so I saved a lot of money. Will not repurchase either.

Not to try to influence you on a de influencing video 😂😂 but as a dry skin girlyoone the best moisturizing face creams that is worth very penny for me is The farmacy honey halo moisturizer so good. Also some of the best yet underrated body scrubs are the Dr.Teals they are the bets combo because moisturizing and exfoliating, lastly 😂😂 bc not enough ppl are talking about this but The Ivory Bodywash is about $6 is it's like 32oz i love the Hint of Honey scent

I'd recommend if you haven't, to leave reviews for these products with your experiences. Something tells me you probably already have, but just wanted to mention. For me, reviews are a big part of why I buy or don't buy something. I, like many, read reviews religiously before purchasing something.
