Here is the reality. Oscar de la hoya was a top tier fighter who dominated his division and was a world champion in multiple divisions on his prime. Not to mention a gold medalist winner for the United States an Olympian and A hall of famer. Today currently one of the top promoters in boxing / Rolly's about to get a beating again and will never achieve half of what Oscar has. The problem is the new generation does not respect the architects who paved the way, disrespect a legend and you will never be one.

I get why people don’t ride with Rollie but i cannot understand the love Pitbull is getting so far. His best performance is a loss to Tank. I can’t even in good conscience count his win over an ancient Gamboa as anything other than propaganda for his promotion to sell him as more than he really is. Pitbull appears to be a one dimensional pure pressure fighter and i think we learned last year with Spence Crawford that you need more than that at the elite level. Add in the fact that he’s severely undersized for 140 at 5’3” i don’t see Pitbull getting that far. Idk, I’ve been wrong in the past. I guess we will see how it all pans out. But I’m ready to file him under the likes of a Leonard Dorin or Carlos Baldomir category.
