De La Salle Cruises Past Pittsburgh for NCS Title

Football fans packed the Gaels Stadium at Dublin High School Saturday night for the NCS Division 1 championship. The favored De La Salle Spartans showcased their talent in a 35-0 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates.
The Spartans defense was on top of their game, holding the Pirates to just 64 total yards. Defensive lineman, Boss Tagaloa, had three sacks on the night totaling in a loss of 18 yards. Multiple big hits by the De La Salle defense, caused unrest between the players resulting in words and shoves being exchanged.
Their offense was just as productive. Running back Antoine Custer shined with 22 carries for 199 yards and one touchdown. Andrew Hernandez scored three of the five Spartan touchdowns, while rushing for 124 yards on 17 carries.
De La Salle will head to the State Bowl Championship in Southern California to face Centennial.

Pittsburg will always have better talents than DLS, thats why DLS lures and recruit athletes from Pitt every year, for decades now. DLS wins b/c their coaches are a lot better than Pitt, plus I notice DLS get a favorable calls from refs on critical plays. DLS scouts Pitt games every beginning of the season, they sit on the away side they know Pitt as a threat, sometime you see DLS Eidson doing the scouting. Pitt should get rid of Galli who is a DLS alumni & probably still have loyalty to the green & silver. Hire a bonafide pirate coach that bleeds orange & black.
