Actually, this is NOT the album version. This is the video version or remix, which is the the best version in my opinion. The difference is that this version at 0:30 and throughout the song has the " you ooh" part, which is the vocals from the sampled group, The Whatnauts ( "Help Is On The Way" ), and the album version does not have that part in it. To me, that little part right into the chorus makes the whole song better. When I bought "De La Soul Is Dead" some 28 years ago, I was pissed that this version was not the exact version on the CD.
