This video brings back so many memories for us cause back in 1989 me and my girlfriend Pauline (now my Mrs for 23yrs☺️) were lucky enough to be in the audience while the band filmed this at the ICONIC BARROWLANDS in Glasgow and after they/we had done about 9 takes the band done a wee mini gig of their big songs from their Raintown album DIGNITY,RAINTOWN,CHOCOLATE GIRL and a few others what a night will never forget it One of the best SCOTTISH bands of the 80,s /90,s 🎼🎤👍🏻

I went to a car boot sale about 5yrs ago and the in the box of records was sitting Decon Blue Our Town album. I opened it up the sleeve was perfect and the record pristine. It had never been played. I bought it for a few quid and thought I won the lottery. While walking out of the carpark and woman came up to me and said is that an original decon blue our town album? I said yes. She asked could see see it. Without asking me she removed it from the sleeve and it dropped.. smashed on the tarmac I couldn't talk. Love Decon Blue. Your Belfast fan.

This really brings the memories back. First heard this at a residential company team building exercise at the Heriot Watt Campus, my team ended up being invited to an impromptu party held in the apartment that housed the COMPAQ team. In 1989 I had the most boring mind numbingly jobs ever. I was supposed to be in accounts I turned out to be a professional confidential paper shredder. Sad but true…wages day on my Walkman I was whisked away to a Deacon gig I played this tape every single day. My oh my I would have been lost…their music got me through those horrid 3 months with a nasty git of a boss! I had the blues but Deacon took them away. Cheers thanks for your music still as fantastic & fresh and exceedingly relevant especially today from the original release in 1989 xxxx ❤❤❤❤ Wow wow glad that was so many moons ago😅 all I looked forward to was My Wages Day
