Sistar were known as the "Summer queens" of kpop. Every time they would release a song around summer, it would become a big hit, no matter what concept it was (examples: Loving you (cute and upbeat), Give it to me (sexy and seductive), Touch my body (fun and happy), I swear (fun and happy), Shake it (cool and colorful), I like that (sexy and sensual)). They disbanded back in 2017, and they released their final song, "Lonely", as a goodbye to their fans.

Sistar is just that group. One of my favorites is Shady Girl, it's the first song of theirs I listened to. It's a more cutesy song compared to this but Hyolyn still flexes her vocals. It also has Heechul from Super Junior in it as the Male lead (no lines though)

“Omg, that smile” Yeah, that’s Bora & Bora is dangerous! Her level of duality is off the charts... Sistar had an interesting story, when they debuted they didn’t get a ton of love, nothing horrible just not much recognition right off the bat. Bora, however, did garner a lot of attention early on because of her variety show skills. She went on any and every show and literally charmed her way (& Sistars) into the hearts of Kpop fans. I would even say that she did nearly as much as Hani’s fancam to save her group. Of course once people started to take notice, their collective talent & summer bops made them part of Kpop royalty. They also had a interesting disbandment. The girls have all said that before they debuted they all agreed to a plan that after their first contract was up (7 years), if anyone of them wanted to leave they would all agree to end the group. Hyolin wanted to do her own thing so true to their word they disbanded. On a sad note I don’t believe all 4 of them wanted the run to end but none of them fought it. On a happy note, based on sm, they all seem to remain close.

sistar is just THAT group. they have everything equally. vocal (duh), visual, dance, even height lol. they have the most perfect-healthy-looking bodies in kpop. they are funny. they constantly released bops after bops. they have a very good relationship with each other even after the disbandment. no member exchange, no rumors. no scandal, eventho Bora got a bf after they disbanded🤣 but sistar IS a dream group y'all. they're clean af this is coming from a Carat and B2uty

Sistar is known as the original Summer Queen Group because you know they released songs mostly in summer and the songs are always hit, sexy bop that everyone in South Korea would listen to. They're also one of the big artists that's called Digital Monster (with IU too) because they always topped the digital charts every comeback. Their B-side tracks are always amazing. I think they're the only group that the sexy concept is accepted by the Korean because it is classy sexy. And I cried when they disbanded because they did it beautifully without any drama. They're my favorite and will always be.

They're known for their summer hits that always became a banger during the summer seasons. It doesn't get more iconic than "Touch My Body" . But they were w huge group during their time with many hits: I Swear, Touch My Body, So Cool, Give it to me, I like that. They ruled the sexy concept in a classy way that yes, tortured you a little but doesn't make you so uncomfortable that you want to look away. I'd recommend "Touch My Body" next OR Sistar19 (subgroup with Hyolyn and Bora) "Ma Boy". No the tattoo is not real, it was just for the music video. Hyolyn does have a large tattoo of a cross going down her stomach that is real, it was to cover up a scar from surgery she had as a child. Sistar did disband in 2017 after their contact expired and the girls wanted to get in different directions career wise. But they're still close and you see them get together from time to time and support each other.

Their debut song was "Push Push" in 2010. Normaly, the groups release mini albums, full albums and repackage albums but don't always in that order, they can debut with a full album and years after release first mini album or start with a mini album and wait to launch their first full album (Like Golden Child, their debut was in 2017 but their first full album was this year).
