Valkyrie is a play on words. There is a similar sounding Korean word "Balkrie" is sort of what it sounds like. And it means light, or bring to light something like that. And in Norse myth Valkyries bring fallen heroes in Valhalla which is a place of light and it's a paradise. So it's very clever

Honestly these six boys since they have debuted I’ve loved them as they have amazed me so much with their work. Only debuting this year and now with their second comeback three albums in one year just shows how much hard work they put into their songs just for us ToMoons. Did I expect another ONEUS video so soon? No. Am I going to complain? Also no. I'm usually not easily impressed by rookie groups to the point of stanning, but ONEUS got me to fall in love with them ever since debut. "Valkyrie" is just way too good to be a debut song, and the fact that there isn't ONE single song that I dislike from the 3 mini-albums they've released so far is just insane, like everything these guys have done is 100% my taste. what is really impressive about their choreo though is that they changed it when one of them was sick/ injured or just because they wanted it ! I also suggest checking out ONEWE (their "brother" group that is a band rather than an idol group). They started out as neighborhood friends who formed a band and later redebuted with RBW Entertainment as ONEWE. Fun fact, but Dongmyeong (the keyboardist) is the twin brother of Xion (the maknae of ONEUS). These two groups have interacted a lot and even made a song together called "Last Song". I highly suggest checking out "Reminisce About All", "Regulus", and "0&4" to get a feel for the type of music they make.

Oneus are so awesome. Their b sides are hype or sweet and all of their music is so good. And yes, I felt that bass in my chest when the beat comes back. I totally agree that Valkyrie is a reigning queen. I love Lit and Twilight and all their b sides, but Valkyrie is my ultimate favorite song from them.

Ben you need to do a guide on oneus, monsta x, super junior just everything. This song is truly a master piece and it still has the same effect on me as when i first watched it. The production was AMAZING, the song was AMAZING- the song gives me like this second gen sound that i really like, its so underrated. they also used a play on words with valkyrie, i think you noticed it cuz they said balkrie korean for shine the light on me (something like that) and not valkyrie. Valkyries are warriors in norse mythology.

And yes Valkyrie is actually their debut track, and personally one of the best debut tracks I ever heard. For a debut they did amazing, but yeah people are still sleeping on them unfortunately. Also you pointed out Seoho (the one with blonde hair) again for his vocals like you did with Lit. Also if you didn't know, Oneus has a whole celestial theme going on with all their songs that focus on common messages about light, the sun, earth, and moon. All their songs tie in with the theme of how "you are the one that brings light into their life" and how you shine like the sun and moon. Interestingly their name ONEUS (원어스) is a play on the Korean 어스, the word is pronounced similarly as "us" but it means earth. So Oneus or "One" "Earth" Also fun fact their fandom name is ToMoons Also if you love their electronic sound, I'd say that's the type of music style they're more known for. You're definitely love their debut album "Light Us" if you like Valkyrie and electronic sounds
