Love my Spectre II & Warlock II. I want a Mask for sure. I'm not a fan of first round pop and all my suppressor purchases have proven it!! I know everyone who has monocore cans act like it's not a big deal but it kills it for me (& I still want a couple too hahaha). The Tacsol Axiom meters louder by several db's but sounds quite a bit quieter do to the great tone it has. Everything about that can is great. I hope the Mask will be even better for us. We need a report of how the cans compare over multiple shots (5 or 10). This gives a better idea of how bad FRP really is and how the can performs overall. Also need to know the kind of ammo (sub- or super-sonic).

+Mike Pappas FRP is an important part, but i would also like to see the full comparison. just curious, why the 15-22? in my experience, it's one of the loudest rifles to suppress, at least from the shooters perspective. not sure if its action noise or maybe just gas coming out of the action but mine does not suppress well.
@mikepappas64159 жыл бұрын
+CRASH PRO 10 round average? I wanted to use something common. Maybe your recoil springs are bad?
@CrashPro19 жыл бұрын
+Mike Pappas 10 rounds would definitely suffice, although 5 would do the trick. My 15-22 has probably 2,000 rds through it, wouldn't think that would be enough on a .22 but my wives is almost brand new, just the other day she said i should try hers as i was complaining about how loud mine is LOL. It's comparable to a 9mm pistol with an Octane 9. My Sig 522 pistol sounds great though!

how do you like it? I looked at some huntertown suppressors locally but haven't done too much serious comparing yet. It will probably be a year or two before I have the financial means to buy one but figure it doesn't hurt to ask now. I like the results of the dead air so far, especially in the 22/45 since that's the gun it would stay on most of the time for me.
@LordStickMax9 жыл бұрын
Off Grid Kansas i really like it. seems real quiet to me but the only think i can compare it to was when i put my kesteral 556 can on my 22lr pistol. its a breeze to clean. just a quick whip down after a spray or two of frog lube solvent. can't beat the price and if anything goes wrong the registered part is pretty much indestructable.

@steel19117 жыл бұрын
First great video and metering work Dead Air! I watch this video all the time it never gets old FRP is the real world testing standard one round over/done. I have the Mask, ACC Element II, Spectre II and GM_22 all great suppressors with just small personal like/dislike differences. To my ears the Mask and Element II sound a hair quieter on a pistol than the Spectre II, then last the GM-22 does have FRP on a pistol (few drops of water/wet GM-22 FRP all but goes away). On a rifle they all sound awesome maybe just some slight tone differences, but it would be hard top tell which is which blind folded. To me the construction, ease of cleaning, size & weight, price all play the biggest part and picking one of this group. Personally, the Mask is my overall favorite if I could only have one since it's great DB wise on both rifle & pistol, great construction and I like the 5" length over the longer 6" Spectre II (yes its only a inch, but you notice it in real life on both a rifle and pistol). Pistol, I like the Element II best because of it's lighter weight along with great DB reduction on a pistol. It just seems a perfect fit pistol wise. The GM-22 gets no love on this video, however I have grown to love the GM-22 for serval reasons. First, its stupid lite-weight at just over 2.5oz's and just 5" long. Second the monolithic core is just cool and easy enough to clean/inspect. Its crazy quiet and good tone on a rifle. The GM-22's weakness is the FRP on a pistol, but with a few drops of water or grease the FRP goes away so the GM-22 can still be a great pistol suppressor and is so lite you forget the suppressor is even attached.

when it comes the FRP, you omitted the biggest player in the game, the AAC Element 2, because you "couldnt get your hands on one"...lol... do you really expect anyone to beleive that.. 1: a silencer manufacturer who probably has everything from every competitor for R&D and comparison doesnt have one of its main competitors? 2: that even if the above was the case, that being in the game you dont know anyone else who had one on hand? I lie your products but when you hide this kind of stuff it ruins credibility.
