Someone asked about them so I decided to do a video about them. Enjoy!

I don’t understand why they just can’t clean 95-45. Going back to the fleet start up video, maybe at the time it was the same mechanics who were busting the speakers in the dashes. Very sad to see that bus go to waste 😕. Hope you get the bus and take care of it!

@@ElevatorsofSteelCity So because it's gotten old, they let it go to waste? They can't just sell it? Tommy Retro would've bought it from them in a New York minute.

Poor 95-45. All because it got old. Is it still in the bus yard? If it is, you should buy it.

Depends on who owns the lot. Not all dead-bus lots are owned by the school board - there is a known dead-bus lot owned by a junkyard operator (Brandywine Companies) - the dead-bus line abuts the "u-pull-it" lines (and has for over a decade). In addition to a dead-bus line, the same lot holds a dead-commercial-truck line - both also operate as "u-pull-it" lines. Does that help, Joshua Nguyen Presents?

About that 07 CE, the reason it only has that heater in the front is the way the district ordered it. A 2007 CE that I used to ride had a heater up front and one in the back. Also its ridiculous that they just retire beauties like these just because of age and mistreat them. Sad to see those two IC buses sitting as well as those other buses, most especially the 99s and 2000s.
@Bluebirdvision916 жыл бұрын
TechSpotlight Modding Corp. // TSMC I know they were ordered that way. But it didn’t keep the bus warm. All of our blue birds kept the bus warm with that one heater. It just didn’t work on the IC. And the motors were junk anywho. And another one has since died.

I live in Canada and our MF7 and VT IC CEs are still holding up but we've moved on from IC since the quality has deteriorated over the years.

There was some 90 passenger Blue Birds ordered here in 2017/2018 that only had the defrost/dash heater (90k BTU unit). Somebody in the accounting/purchasing office thought it would be sufficient and wanted to save money. When they showed up, the transportation department rejected them stating it wasn’t as ordered. Had to get more from the factory to satisfy them (3-4 month wait). The dealer added a rear heater and sold them to other contract operators.

@Bluebirdvision916 жыл бұрын
Project 681 Yeah it is. I almost lost my mind when they decided to do it. I hated to see those buses go. 04-80, 98-56, 00-68 all ran great. Bad thing is all the engines are still good. Drilled a hole through through nothing more than a coolant passage. Machine that hole put threads in it and put a plug in and they’d be good to go. But they’ve started yanking parts from them already.
