the new guy has a deeper, fuller sound, but jimmie has that signature sound that makes him sound like he's ripping his throat apart. i actually can't imagine him screaming without a little blood mist coming out of his mouth. anyways, the two blend together perfectly.

I've been following DBA for many years now and I'm well aware of the mixed response from the metal community. Hey Guys, listen .. I was just starting listening to this band like 2 week ago ... I have listened to about 12 songs, and let me tell you ... I love this song ... I liked Jimmie, but this dude is actually very good too, you should cut him some slack. O come on. I've listened to these guys since '07 and love them. Although my musictaste has changed and am not a huge fan anymore and I immediately heard they had a new singer, this song breathes DBA and made me happy when I heard it. Imo it's sad he left, but they couldn't get any better replacement for him. :)

In fact, this one is re-recorded with Stoffe's vocals on. And it wasn't released before Jimmie got kicked out. Just an acapella of the initial version of the song. Then Jimmie got kicked out and they had to re-record the song.

Jimmie used to do all the vocals, and then Pontus started to do vocals live as well, and ex guitarist Johann Olsson used to do back up screams as well, but then he left the band in 2010, and Pontus also left the band in 2010 because he wanted to focus more on song writing, so they then brought Zandro in to replace Pontus on April 5th 2010 I believe, but Pontus came back after. The first DBA album is just Jimmie doing all the vocals, and Pontus saying a couple lines in "My Saviour" and "Carry Me"

I can get used to this new Dead By April :) However I feel like everyone will think Jimmy is better for the reason that he was in the band as it started. If Stoffe was in the band first and Jimmy happened to take his spot later on, I feel like people would be saying "Stoffe was better." Excited to see how much this band grows :)

No, he did, he would do pretty much do 95% of the song back in like 07,08,and part of 09 Here's an example Dead by april in my arms live at Gardehov (click the one by MrsTwisted) and then Pontus would start to do most of the clean vocals and Jimmie would just do the growls Here's an example Dead by april losing you by Pitcam Btw the first vid I linked you of in my arms is my fav live vid of DBA, I loved it when Jimmie did pretty much all the vocals himself, he has such a good voice.
