Its pontus, feel free to do some research, always more reliable than asking randoms online. But pontus and jimmie both sang on the first album. However its easier to tell who sang what if you search up the demo version, mainly because less autotone and mixing was used there. so it was easier to hear the difference between both.

I think it's because he is a growler/screamer before being a clean singer. His clean voice got affected after all the years of screaming in not only dba but other bands as well in which he only screamed, e.g. death destruction and nightrage.
