I'm aware this comment is old af but I feel compelled to let you know that I agree. I suddenly remembered listening to this song in my teens, so I came to KZbin to look it up and was very confused as to why it was different lol. Thought there was some Mandela Effect stuff going on. Apparently I just somehow only ever listened to the demo as a kid. 😂

The demo is miles better, especially in terms of the vocals.

@@OtterUnderwater just experienced the same... checked after the artist/song and was like... shit this doesn't sounds like as I remember it. So I checked an old wow video from which I remembered it, and heard the difference. Then looked at the comment section and was "a-ha! So that's why". Absolutely, the expression is different. I bet it's easier to produce the required feelings for songs when you still have it, but still this is what art is about :)

No point in bringing him back if he can’t get his life under control. I’d love to have him back but him constantly on drugs doesn’t make for a good live show. Hell when he first was let go he wasn’t even singing live anymore. I’d rather the guy not destroy himself just for music.
