Dead Cells | UNLOCK ALL RUNES | Beginner's Guide & Tips

Runes are the persistent locks between runs in Dead Cells. Here's how to unlock them all starting from a fresh file.
Full Path:

Assault Shield is a must for my every run, if I can't get it I'll just restart the game or just die trying to find it. it's like another part of my body to get that extra air boost.

A tip for conjunctivius place traps onto the middle place. He is mostly there and when he got caught you could just hit with your melee weapon and if you found a good one you could easily kill it

it's funny how when going for the spider rune he runs the most atrocious set for that specific path with the vorpan, a shield and double traps considering that makes conjunctivius (which he calls mama tick the whole time) so much harder to deal with

That's very easy-to-do speedrunning tech. When you have the assault shield you can hit roll + shield in quick succession and it will give you that fast dodge slide.

The spulcher's darkness mechanic confuses me, the first time I went I didn't know the lights were temporary and haven't been since, if you have tips please share it would be appreciated

Only some lights are temporary. Lights at major waypoints are permant. Give it another to. It's one of my favorite biomes.

To me... it's weird that avoiding fighting enemies becomes the way you want to play the game once you have enough cells. Just search for upgrades... After coming off Hades it feels blasphemous to just avoid enemies. Like... what's the point? This game is clearly built around combat. You could just play Spelunky.
