As an atheist myself, I can see why some people say they don't like it, seeing as they can't relate, but to not respect something that means everything to someone else and they're beliefs is slightly arrogant and naive. Haz I may be a christian, but i have nothing against people with different beliefs (unless they try to re-educate me). I may have a strong belief in jesus as our savior and son of god, but if I'm told by someone that they don't believe the same thing, I'm willing to admit that I might be wrong because; 1: We know very little. 2: There's a difference between high faith and stuborness.

I am a non-Christian Clique member myself, (not atheist though), and I can find something lyrically to relate to in every single song sung by Tyler. Including this one. I think that if more people truly listened to the words of any song like this or any song by TOP, they will find something that means something to them. They just need to be open about it. I for one am so very happy that Tyler found God again and was saved, because now I get to hear his music and words. Just letting you all know, Christianity is not a religion, but it's a relationship. I'm most religions, there is no relationship with their god, but in Christianity it's the strongest, most amazing relationship with God. This song + animation just shows how amazing and powerful God is. I struggled in my faith for the longest time, but through Tyler's Joseph's/Twenty one pilots music I have found my self regretting all my wrong doings and have been begging for forgiveness. Now I feel free and I know that God has forgiven all of my sins and loves me.

I began to struggle with my faith, but I remember being able to relate to Tyler's lyrics and realising that I'm not the only one who felt the same way. Just to share a testemony: a friend of mine were in depression and about to kill himself. I showed him Jesus. He didn't believe... but now he's fixing the relationship with his family and very happier about life. When he told me it was because of the things I told him and that he knew that with Jesus in his heart he would be happier (although he hasn't asked Him to live in his heart yet) I just started singing this song... "God... You are good... oh God... You are SO good"... God really is SO GOOD... He shows us mercy and grace when we don't deserve and gives us second chances. He gives us happiness through chaos and peace through storms... I had to share the testemony to let y'all know how good my God is... Weve been walking through struggles this last year with abuse my wife faced in her past and been battling the enemy hardcore. The lyrics are hitting us as hard as the video is. I remember when i was on the ambulance to the mental hospital the ambulancr guy showed me this song and tols me a lot about God. He told me his brother knew the guy that was rapping. We had a full on conversation. I was 12 and I knew stuff. I wasn't Christian or anything but I used to go to church with my best friends. I debated whether or not to use this particular image since it is almost irreverent, however, that's the point of what Christ did on the cross....the most glorious being in all of reality BECAME sin....my prayer is that this image will help us feel a bit more the jarring horror of the cross and the infinite depths of God's love in Christ

This is 7 years later, but I'm convicted to say this God help me. Christ did not become corrupt in His nature, but what is meant when it stated that "He who knew no sin became sin on our behalf" is that Christ bore the legal guilt of sin on our behalf, not that He became corrupt, so the last line of the first paragraph is wrong, it sounds nitpicking, but this is not right

I went through a demonic attack and until you are facing real evil that you can’t see or fight by yourself you don’t even realize how much you really need Jesus! Jesus is the only thing that saved me! I owe Jehovah everything! I no longer want to live for myself I want to live for Jesus and submit my life to his will . I am beyond blessed to have gone through what I went through and was able to have a supernatural experience with my Lord Jesus Christ almighty!
