Dead Island 2 is an action role-playing game developed by Dambuster Studios and published by Deep Silver. It is a sequel to the 2011 video game Dead Island and the third major installment in the Dead Island series. Set about 10 years after the events of Dead Island, Dead Island 2 differentiates itself from its predecessors by taking place in the cities of Los Angeles and San Francisco. Doing side quests will help a lot. Otherwise you will be under-level at one point in the game. Don't worry about weapons (is not worth repairing white/green ones), you will find better ones along the way. Also keep an eye out on named zombies, there is always a crate nearby with a powerful weapon. Use the dodge a lot, don't be afraid of the enemies, when you do a perfect dodge (which is pretty easy, go in front of them and wait to raise their hand) on any enemy they will get stunned and you will have 3-5 free attacks on them.

quite frankly, i feel Brad is the only gamer i've ever seen dismiss content in any game (for him its every game) and say it doesn't matter ..... of course it matters, if it didn't it never would have been added to the game. then on top of it has the audacity to call this a walkthrough, his advice is ill advised and ill educated as he doesn't take the time to learn what the mechanics actually do or how they function within the game. sorry for sounding like i'm just dunking on Brad, he is entertaining but this is nothing more than a Lets Play rather than a Walkthrough. Brad, please take this as constructive criticism

@@chriszornes6976 I so agree with you. I've been watching him for long, but sometimes watching him play is painful. He misses a lot of crucial things, and not only that, many times on a non cutscene event he looked away to loot or doing something else rather than showing what's happening on screen. Now if I want to watch a let's play with good immersion throughout the game, I watch someone else's first. I come back to watch Brad for his commentary and the main story only, or even some horror games. Delirious Let's Play is my favorite right now as he immerse himself in the game and take his time. His Dead Island 2 playthrough is very good and immersive.

Been a while since I've watched Brad's gameplay. Watching Brad using a gasoline Tank, running with it as it spill the damn liquid on the floor,as a strat to kill enemies...while also running straight into flaming ground as he spills even more gasoline,is the type of content I'm here for.

I know I'm late to the party but hopefully this tip will help anyone watching. When fighting crushers jump to avoid the ground pound wave, focus fire arms or legs for best damage, and dodge alot... doing perfect dodges can be a pain to perfect but once u get it right the extra healing card will boost your health by like 1/3 ur total health compared to a sliver of health without it. Edit: u can craft med packs, u don't need to buy them :)

Hey brad when u r fighting infected aim for the limbs especially Crushers breaking arms or cutting off legs of regular infected weakens them and crushers cannot use their arms 2 ground pound
