I know that there's a lot of hype for other members of the original player cast to return, but I want to know something else: what happened to Charon and Yerema after they were taken away by Serpo? Neither of them are seen or mentioned again and part of me believes that either they were exfilled somewhere else before the ship go infected or when Serpo was abandoning the ship. Who knows, maybe a dlc or items found in the game would shed some light on what happened to them.

I wish more people played the Ryder white campaign. Because without it, the story you know isn’t the story. It completely flips it on its head and I love it. The DLC isn’t fantastic, but it’s so short that everyone should have played it. Idk why everyone who loved the game never popped into that dlc, especially when they played the definitive edition that included it free…

But man, without doing that DLC the story you get is so incorrect! And that’s why I love the DLC so much. That happens with all techland games, dying light 1 tons of hate for over-promising, dying light 2 had tons of hate for over-promising, dead island had hate for "lackluster" combat, same things happened with dead island 2 as well. For some reason people just have a biase to hating techlands stuff in general and for some unknown reason they almost never look at the good stuff each game does, it's always what they didn't do.

@@skyvolt2566 the dying light hate was there for the release, they over-promised a *lot,* proximity chat was supposed to be a thing, ‘amazing story ’ they said, multiple characters and story choices, and of course there were bugs, like, a fuck ton of bugs. As of recently I haven't heard any hate for DL1 probably because people just stopped mentioning those false promises. And for DI2 most of the hate I've seen are people calling it a shit game and then saying the combat is bad.

@kiopsm8825 Personally I thought the story for DL1 was great despite it being your basically everyday zombie story. And I thought DL2 story was amazing it was a very heartfelt and heartbreaking story it made me feel like the stakes were high and everything for me it was just the night time didn't feel as scary as DL1 night time I felt literally no risk going out especially with UV lights being around ever corner. But ppl may be saying Dead Island 2s combat feels bad bc it's literally the same combat system as the 1st game which I see nothing bad about personally it feels great to me especially when I bash a zombies face and their skin comes off and you see nothing but their skull left
