Brilliant ~ Likely in top 2 tracks on Aesthesis, for me. Definitely top 3 and it brings a new kinda groove to their sound. Thanks boys ~ Man, I feel connected to you lads. Hope you release a masterpiece before 2030. I expect it to blow my mind and if you're not making another album, then zee members of zee band should join me in writing a progressive opus, Ha ~ I hope a new album aligns, but wishing you all well in your current endeavors... Spiral out, keep going ~ 💜✌️

3 different songs from the album. none sound similar than the last ones, each showcasing their versatility. These guys May never be mainstream in the top 40 sense but these guys are hands down, one of, if not the best band to come out of Australia, and one of the best, most consistent bands in the world today. There are musicians, there are artists there are label made puppets but these guys are there own beast. I can't wait to see them live. going to be a boss fucking show.

Staotic Absolutely spot on mate! Live show is not one to be missed. Love their rivalry and friendship with another Aussie band named Karnivool who nabbed #1 album spot for Catalyst Fire, with their album Asymmetry. I'm so proud that our country has such fantastic talent too!

Staotic nailed it. Each song they have previewed on this new album show that they are effectively showing a range that we haven't seen previously and I have enjoyed each song. A lot of bands say that they change because they don't want to repeat themselves, but often those bands simplify their sound and start writing more radio hits. I think a band like ...And you Will know us by the Trail of Dead shows that you can evolve and change your sound while not devolving and keep pushing the envelope and song writing. DLC is following in their footsteps by showing they don't have to play super fast all the time and have guitar solos over guitar solos to be good, they can make great compositions without selling out. Love this new facet of DLC.

Loving the astrological reference and the whole new world order theme. Such a relate-able song :) Fuck this bullshit terrorism threat. Glad this guy understands the true terrorists (the ones we fear) are not common folk, but are untouchable billionaires far above us all. Cheers dead letter, I've never been a fan, but now i am for sure. Music should be used for spreading awareness and its nice to know you guys are spreading it in good taste.

Is it just me or are a lot of the songs on this new album missing that thick, bottom end?
@zacharyhuffmusic9 жыл бұрын
IAWEE91 What are you listening on? I'm gonna disagree. The low end sounds nice on my monitors.
@zacharyhuffmusic9 жыл бұрын
IAWEE91 Actually I take that back, for some reason at 2:40ish the bass drops out. Not sure why they'd choose to leave out the bass on the arrival of primary theme for this tune. Maybe production error?
@AtaraxiaPNW8 жыл бұрын
Nah, you can tell by the drums it's more of a groovy reprise of the chorus. A lot of bands do that, where they remove the bass and have a smaller yet more powerful drum section to fill up the bottom end. Sounds fucking crazy live.

Amazing lyrics...Sounds like the singer was raised by crackpot fundamentalists, and most likely scapegoated for being different, & challenging the dysfunction.
