Not gonna lie, I'm not usually a super big fan of vaporwave, but the Dead Mall stuff produced here is top notch. There were hundreds of straight to VHS "documentaries" from religious production companies in the US from the 70s and 80s made to warn people about Satanism, Halloween was often seen by religious extremists/biblical literalists as Satanic. Quite a few of the clips are also just old seasonal Halloween commercials from the 90s and early 2000s. Some are also from movies like Halloween 3: season of the witch. the latter half of the video contains footage of the video game Carnevil. These are the references I was able to catch, there might be more.
