One of my very first jobs to work there in its hay day. Was always packed and made lots of friends.

Malls were fun. Shopping, food, movies. This mall looks exactly like the mall up here in New Hampshire. Same layout. Covid and Amazon killed the businesses or at least dealt a final fatal blow. I miss going to the mall. I guess I like immediate gratification. But, it was fun to shop. Malls were not evil.

Malls suck. I don't go shopping to 'have an experience". I shop because there are things I need (or at least want). My first choice is to shop online and have it shipped to me. When that is too expensive I want to go to a strip mall, park, go in, get my item(s), and be back in my car in a few minutes. What I don't want to do is walk half a mile past a bunch of expensive crap that I'm not interested in to find the thing I am interested in.

The malls replaced village main street shopping. We have a new mall in my town that is made up of main street look alikes, and it’s thriving. The Promenade Mall in Bolingbrook, Illinois.

That mall at one time was a very nice mall, in a rural area, now it needs to be torn down plowed under.
