I’ve been a fan of Ryan Gosling for so long and just now came across his band. It’s safe to say Dead Man’s Bones is my favorite band! I’ve been listening to the album and I wish this gem was on it. But wow, every song is just amazing! I wish they’d release new music, but I’m very grateful to have any music from them at all.

I've only become aware of this band recently. I hope for more. I like the layering; it really takes you in. Casts a coating not easily shaken. Hard to feel moved by anything lately. This was a sweet exception. Great sound.

Okay… so this song makes clear that he can sing, but I think he would shine musically if he wasn’t playing guitar while singing. It’s throwing his timing off slightly and limiting vocal power and inflection. Also, someone could probably shred that riff while adding a little extra dance to the strings.
