One of the best songs ever made, and recorded in my opinion, and the band guys are cool, nice modest, lads. Seen them seven times now-Dan

In my opinion it's cool that this stuff stay, sort of, 'underground'. Music always defend itself. It's a way of life. People love musicians because they still play what they play, no matter of what. When someone has to something to say, not even verbally, but emotionally, it reflects on the music, you can hear that. Like Victor Wooten said - music is a language. Fuck money. Wise music for wise people. Keep on rockin'

In July of 2020, I discovered this song and the group. Lit a fire under me and I spent the next year writing, composing and recording original songs with this awesome band as the biggest and best inspiration I ever had as a songwriter;/performer! I actually wept around the second time I heard this beautiful song! One of the most beautiful songs I;ve EVER heard!

From the heights of the town her handmaids will announce her undying presence within her seven-pillared house Gifts of gold lie undisturbed at her open door Give until nothing's left then wish to give more Her words ring out all too clearly in your ears Until all else disappears in a never ending night she shines like boundless light Though she calls quietly know she'll take it all It's alright it's all I need Heaven up above waiting all the time for you to make the age old climb but sliding down takes no time Gifts of gold lie undisturbed at her open door Give until nothing's left then wish to give more Her words ring out all too clear Hers is the love for which rivers flow men fall from ladders to the ground below

I love the antiquity of this video. It's simple, but haunting like the melody of the song. I'm so hooked on this song right now. Great music.

Dead Meadow is such a great post modern psychedelic band. I had the chance to see them in Silverlake California at Spaceland. They were absolutley incredible! Remember that one Anton?

Heard Dead Meadow the first time on Shout! The Revolution Rave-Up compilation and fell in love with them, only to further find out they are from only half an hour from my home town. Ate lots of acid listening to these guys…never got to see them though

the album version is so much better, I kinda hate how it' goes right into the solo. it's releasing tension that was never built up, so it's just tension as the result, and no release, thenit fades out instantly, not to say this isn't a great song, because it is, I just prefer the album version.
