Okay, so the scene with the boys carrying the coffin (of Neil?) was obviously cut.

I wish they'd make an uncut edition, using all the material they have that is usable.

There’s an extra scene of Mr. Perry blaming Mr. Keating for Neil’s death and I haven’t been able to find it. If anyone knows, I’d appreciate if you commented!

I can’t find the scene by itself but it’s towards the end of this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/a6vQaXWvrJplmrM I actually highly recommend you watch this video, it includes other deleted scenes and rly insightful interviews with the cast!
For someone who just happens to stumble on this video, it may seem boring. However, from my own experience, it's pretty fascinating. In early 2008, I was one of many extras for the candlelight march scene in "Milk" and I can attest to how much time and effort it takes just to set up scene that my last only a few minutes...at most...on the screen.

I've also done BG on many shows in NYC. It is a lot of work to set up shots and film them.

RIP Robin Williams. Seeing him there at 13:55 was really sad.

Filming of Dead Poet Society was filmed at St. Andrews, Middletown, DE Nov. 14, 1988 to Jan.15, 1989. This was a scene about 20 miles north at Newcastle, DE. 4:49 Josh Charles (Knox) on his way to the Danburrys. 7:17 "I feel sorry for that poor kid on the bike"."His college education is paid for"....I doubt he got that much just for that minor nonspeaking part. 13:40 Robin back at St. Andrews. 16:56 Funeral.

I think the stuff with the squirrel and after that is not related to the shooting of DPS.

Hi, Old New Castle is where many generations of my family grew up. My grandfather was a Senator there. And my great-grandfather has a home there in his namesake (The Rodney Willis House) listed in the National Historical Society. The Green was our play area. This video brought back some of my memories as I grew up there. Also, Noxington Pond (st andrews) was one of our favorite places to fish. Thank you . If you or anyone else that has a story or memory of Old New Castle , please share.

Sort of nice to see Robin with the craft breakfast people. You'd think the star wouldn't be eating with them. But Robin wasn't like that, he was a great guy, it seems.

For those who don't see a lot of filming, it shows how much work goes on behind the scenes and the fact that setting up a scene takes a lot of work to do as well.

I have a feeling the stuff near the end is something else, like the squirrel. Has nothing to do with the shooting.

Because you knew who was in the coffin right? They cut this whole bit from the film. In a way, it makes sense, because would Neil's funeral have the characters there?

The crew let all those people watch? Isn't that distracting? Well, I guess since they are shooting in their town the residents have a right to watch.
