Out of all the psychopaths, Larry is the most unsettling one for me, the dude is not only like 6 feet tall, he’s a walking pile driver. He doesn’t need his cleaver to fight zombies one punch and it’s a TKO for a zombie, Larry is very unsettling.

Ok, I’ll be honest, I dislike the new voices (NOT the voice actors), they just sound tamer like Adam the Clown’s death laugh seems more quiet and way shorter than the original,Larry the Butcher, who is supposed to be Asian (His surname is Chiang), just became American suddenly, and Steven the Manager’s scream just sounds more quiet and less-maniacal, in the original, you FELT that scream

I feel that on Steven. He was always one of my faves from DR1 and his death scene felt weird; felt different and like some character was gone I can’t remember Larry’s OG voice but him having an American accent is understandable. If you’re born in the country, people can only have the accent noticeable when speaking their first language while speaking English mimics the accent they grew up hearing. Just being Eastern ≠ 24/7 accent/specific way of speech

I’ll say this The voice performances aren’t bad it’s just they biggest problems are 2 things. 1 They’re always going to be compared to the unhinged 100% energy performances of the OG actors and 2 the biggest issue in my opinion is the Intensity of the Audio, best example is Steven, when he yells there’s No Echo like in the original, It subdues the most extra performance in the entire game. You can clearly tell the New VA is trying to match the energy of the original but the game isn’t emphasizing his performance. Reason I say this is cause there are performances in this game that are honestly pretty spot on to the original. Like Cletus officer Jo (who I think is better cause she’s even more disgusting in this performance) Adam the Clown is the most accurate to the original portrayal and Despite the controversy around Cliff the VA does a pretty Great impression of Steve Blum.

Yeah. Honestly they shouldve modified some lines to fit better with the new va’s and allowed for a bit of wiggle room with there performances. Obviously keep the iconic ones but modify some lines that dont fit with right with the new voices. Nothing will beat the unhingeness of stevens old va. As for steve blum yeah it sucks but hey at least we got our favorite pervy sage to be the voice whoch honestly is a great fit in my opinion.

To be honest Adam the Clown could potentially be the most reasonable psychopath in dead rising, mainly cause its just about the ride (dunno haven't played dead rising) but like im sure like reasoning with could be possible

The overall feel of these fights feel a lot more tamer compared to OGs. Might be the music or something, but like the Convicts, they appeared underwhelming. I remember the gun mounted one actually being aggressive, and some voice acting feels iffy

@@andrewabrego2213 it's an overreaction really, it's literally just 2 bosses, and while the Cliff one sucks the other one (Larry) doesn't really matter, I don't really understand why people are so pissed about these small changes, they are acting like Gone Guru was removed from the game or smth stupid like that
