Kevinofrepublic Yes at the beginning of the game the survivor Brian carries the shotgun, you can clearly see him holding it. He is talking to Todd, once the zombies break in and kill everyone you can grab his shotgun. He dies on the right hand side of the staircase, be quick to grab it as soon as he dies so that you don't get overrun by zombies.
