Dear Creature Feature, I really enjoy Friday, and Saturday night's. I sit down with a bowl full of microwave popcorn, some chocolate candy, and a soft drink, turn out the lights, and watch the movie. I always anticipate seeing Vincent, Tangella, and Mr. Livingston.

Not to be confused with the wildly popular game franchise, this movie has been compared to Forbidden Planet, Alien & Star Wars,,,, if done by Roger Corman, so Creature Features apologizes ahead of time 😜 The film does star a younger Bryan Cranston, proving he was Breaking Bad years before,,,

makes me wonder if EA took inspiration from this film haha, i rented this one from Family Video in the 2000s well before I knew about Cranston so that's neat.

@@jadedheartsz I think EA may have been more inspired by Alien for the game, the way creatures could be & usually are, hiding in the shadows definitely reminds me of Alien. My older brother probably rented this one, OMG he had a sixth sense for questionable to bad movies, THANK GOD for that hot girl at that one video store who was a John Carpenter fan, went from nazi zombie surfers to The Thing, Escape From New York, etc.

Growing up, I remember buying early X-Men and She-Hulk to add to my impressive collection of E-man, The Peacemaker, Spiderman and many others from a very large stack of various comics from the 1960s that I once got at a yard sale for a song. I remember one comic I had bought had a full-page ad for Rocky Horror Picture Show action figures, but back then, I hadn't joined the cult of Rocky yet so I had no idea what having that collection would be worth today. I mean, there's Sea Monkeys and X-ray glasses, then there's iconic memorabilia. All I remember is that the price was ridiculously low, even for back then. But those were the days before knowing the thrill of attending a midnight movie.🍿 My most absolute favorite comics in my collection were the very many Tales From The Crypt, Creepy, Eerie and first-edition Vampirella comics that I'm sure would be worth much today. They had an intrinsic value far beyond the monetary to me and they served the primary purpose of being a great comic perfectly. I'd sure love to read any of those comics once again. It certainly explains why I love Creature Features and why I'm so smitten with the lovely Tangella! ❤ Great show! Best to you all!
