First game was classic, but this is one of the best video game sequel, the gameplay, narrative, atmosphere, graphics, and audio design, like everything surpass the original. Some of the scenes are still tense and memorable to this date, no matter how many times you played.

@benserkowski4663 Nah, I thought the improved lighting and random encounter sequences added a lot more tension. Sometimes things would randomly jump out at me that never happened in the original. I thought the remake was absolutely fantastic.

I think the most haunting part about this franchise, is Nicole’s body never being found. The countless necromorphs Issac has slaughtered, the bodies from Mercers experiments whose faces were wrapped up. Playing through dead space one, we could have unknowingly walked right past Nicole. By the time dead space2 rolls around, she has probably been assimilated in the necro sludge. Terrifying.

Played the ever living hell out of this game so much. I mean non stop repeating runs with all weapons maxed out and ping awards. My favorite weapons was the plasma cutter and contact beam. I even knew the glitch to kill the ubermorph and was able to do no hit runs. My favorite moment was the tormentor scene 1:48:41 In a span of 2 minutes, Isaac was gunned down by a gunship and had to shoot the arm off most scariest necromorph ever and killed both the gunship and tormentor by shooting bomb canisters and sent back to the apartments. Another was 2:56:32 after realign the solar arrays he made it all the way back to the tram station by slingshoting himself at full speed before a horde can kill ellie and stross and landed like a badass. The craziest was 5:02:22 releasing the horde to the guards by removing the power cell to the bulk gate. That was scary how the ubermorph was just walking while a horde ran to slaughter everyone. Isaac is a engineer that has done the craziest shit to survive. Favorite survival character ever. My favorite suit was the zealot suit and was even able to get the foam finger weapon after beating hard-core. Took a weekend off to pull that off. My favorite enemies are the advanced brute and stalkers. I wish the game had a infinite advanced rush mode where you have to survive as long as you can with what you had. Best survival horror game ever. And will die on that fact. 😌👍

The power of the sound when Issac gets to the marker was and is totally amazing. The Dead Space series sound design is still unbeaten to this day. Nice revisiting this absolute classic. Thanks for the upload

1:21:54 So this is our first encounter with those kind of necromorphs I think their called stalkers and y’all know how we have to kill them and then go to the panel and hack it so we can go up the elevator well when the sequence of fighting them off started I instantly made a break to the panel hacked it and went up the elevator without fighting them at all and I still got the achievement 😂

Im so thankful dudee, i once played this game just for 5mins in computer club when I was a child like 8years old, it was too fascinating but I didn't have time to play so I was just checking and then this one turned out to be one of the greatest ones and ever since I remembered the sight of what it really looked like, the mere minutes of gameplay, the expression on the game was a little bit too much as I was young. I cant thank you enough man, i`ve found it (been looking for it for 9years T-T )

Who cares if it didn’t sell enough when they pump out the same game for the last 30 years with roster updates and slightly new animations with NHL, Madden and FIFA. Battlefield 2042 sold like shit too, but that ain’t stopping them from continuing to make them. If they’re not going to remake it then they should sell the IP and let another company remake it or even possibly give us Dead Space 4. Regardless of the situation EA made 7.4 billion in 2023. Their highest marker EVER in their entire history of a company. If they can’t shell out 70-100mil for a remake then they need to let the game go. They have stupid expectations to think a single player game was going to have sales of Madden or FIFA. Which is worse that the ratings for DSR were phenomenal from major reviewers. Metacritic has it an 89 average from all consoles/pc.

Everyone. Here's some rules if you play this game. 1. Double tap ALL enemies to see loot. 2. The pack are one shot. Just use anything with kineses, even a plant kills them. Don't waste ammo. 3. If you have contact beam, keep that with a plasma cutter and pulse rifle. For quick money they are worth 1000 credits per shot. Having it on your slots gives you ammo from dead enemies. 4. You can catch bile projectiles from pukers and spitters with kineses and one shots them. 5.when you shut ANTI mainframe, the puzzle to put the slots in, the left room of them is a secret ping room. Place the slots randomly till the lights turn purple and you can go to a room with sweet loot.

If you want to play this game in easy mode just fully upgrade the flamethrower super early on, and buy loads of ammo for it when you can if you run low. Kills normal enemies with about 5 fuel worth of a squeeze of the trigger. Kills black late game enemies in about 15. Most go down in 1 - 2 seconds 😂 Completely breaks the game, even on higher difficulties.

This is still my favorite DS game, and also one of my all-time favorite games. Yes, it still holds up incredibly well, but I recently played DS Remake, and the difference in graphics really IS so blatant. I remember so many people being dishonest and claiming that the remake barely looks better than the OG (LOL), but trust me: if you replay the older games IMMEDIATELY afterwards, it feels like a whiplash. Not saying that the older DS games look ugly or so, but yeah, the remake looks vastly better. I still hope that EA will greenlight a remake of this game.

Second is like 15-16/20 First is like 18-19/20 I'm glad they remaked the first one, this one is repetitive, borring, no fears, and rewatching it made me realise how poor it was specialy level disgn & ambiance.
