Its cool the remake used both the comic and movie to expand on the game whereas before it was more just the same setting with some inconsistency, like how large the marker was in the movie and how it was black rather than red. Its clear a lot of care went into the game in regards to the lore and setting

Agreed, Kyne's character change is probably the worst one not only is he way too calm and collected for a nutty person but his actor just does enough, not above and beyond like the original VA.

I do think Captain Mathias was better in that particular video log, at least in terms of voice acting. Something about how he sounded during that scene in the original game was... off.

Find it annoying that they tried so hard to keep it close to source material yet they still go ahead and change Dr.Kyne from a White blonde to a grey hair Indian, all it does is make me confused and have to remember who the character really is. Guess they got their diversity points though, ughh.

The only problem that Remake Dr. Kyne has is that he wasn’t as insane as the original Dr. Kyne was, not because of a race change. Hell, no one but you noticed his race change when playing/watching (only that he sounded younger than the original), nor did anyone cared.

@@FracFern32 i mean he looks and sound much younger now, which kinda doesn't suit his character. Also while absolutely not giving a damn about race they, still changed his design uh like just imagine Hammond or Kenda getting redesigned and race swapped. Sure many characters changed their appearance too but Kyne's for character plot important as him changes including visual ones can be seen as too drastic
