I live in India and when i hear and see preachers like you so freely delivering the message of Our Lord Jesus I envy the Americans how they can fearlessly attend and listen. The freedom they enjoy. I have been quoting the same Sprit that raised Jesus from the dead indwells me. I believe it. Yet do i know it? I wanted to confess in public that the call of God is upon my life. I have not walked in the fulness of what Christ has done for me. Yes, there are wonderful things that happen,but I know the distractions and cares of this world are keeping me back. I came to the Lord and was baptized in water in 1967. I received the baptism of the Holy Ghost in 2011,instantly, my mind was quickened. Nevertheless, I take Andrews' challenge to walk in the fullness of what God has called me to be. I will take the challenge to walk in the fullness of the Spirit. What is worse is i know Jesus and have seen things that the baptism of the Holy Ghost has done. I speak in tongues, and i have started to interpret what I pray and speak. Yet this challenge has pricked my heart because it's not what I do. it's what God does through me. Yes, the power of God is in this service,may the things that bind me,and distract me be loosed,i am made free. Yes my wife has been delivered ! Amen He called out one of the distractions,others listened, and i have mentored by the will of God,yet my own familys forbearance of what i speak shows.

Man has a soul in his flesh and blood. The soul died due to sin. But it's quickened by the holy spirit when he is born again. The spirit in us is the spirit of God Himself and it does not sin. (Spirit of God will give you understanding when you ask). The soul that's quickened must learn and as he yearn to submit to the voice of the spirit, he will be one in the spirit. It's a journey and when it arrives, the mind has been transformed and the body transfigured and he shall be like the resurrected Christ Jesus, not being limited by space and time. He has become the full grown son of God and of the Lord JESUS Christ. In Him, there's no death but continuity of Life & of the Spirit of God! Preachers must stop preaching death as spirit in us is Life and death been annihilated. It's the consciousness of death in man's mind that death will occur. Let's always be righteousness conscious and be transfigured like our resurrected Jesus🎉

The Blood of Jesus is the quickening element, the bridge between the Spirit realm and the temporal realm that causes us to be aware of what we have in Jesus. It is called the Blood of the covenant and the Blood of sprinkling. The common denominator is that Jesus has HIS human Blood sprinkled on the mercy seat in heaven , but it also is to be sprinkled on us Christians and on the Book, the written word of God. It causes us to be able to receive revelation knowledge. Increase comes by the Blood.The Blood of Jesus is the bridge that takes the self-effort out of being a Christian and facilitates the works of God. .We are spirit soul and body made in the image of Jesus and He was made like us. He sits on the throne today as the God Man. The feast of Tabernacles is not taught in the churches. We have Passover, Pentecost and Tabernacles. Tabernacles is not only getting a resurrected body. It also can be an overshadowing by the Spirit of God in such a way that we are effected by the righteousness of Christ expressed to us as protection from corruption since His righteousness is incorruptible. So the scripture says be dead to sin but alive unto God. That is accomplished by the Blood of Christ. There is the penalty of sin and the power of sin but also the protection from the corruption of sin. The Blood of Jesus enables us to access the Word. The Cloud of the Father follows the Voice of the Blood. Praise God. The Blood of Jesus helps keep the body/soul from hindering the Spirit. Look up all the scriptures on the Blood. How much more shall the Blood fo Christ who through the Eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish unto God , Cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the Living God. Hallelujah.

I know 90% is true but he looses it when he actually says if you cant talk in tongues then your not baptized or saved that’s not true Gods word doesn’t say that . When people speak in tongues it’s a gift from the Holy Spirit I have the gift of Discernment that’s why I was able to catch what he said about tongues. You are saved because Jesus died for you and you are dead to yourself because Jesus bridges the gap to his father that’s why Jesus say the only way to my father is through me ! He died for us and we died as well because we believe in Jesus so the Holy Spirit tonleads us . Don’t believe for a second that if you don’t have the gift of tongues that your not saved or whatever he is saying that’s not from gods word or from the Holy Spirit ! Anyone can show me in gods word let them show it I know it doesn’t exist! Gifts from the Holy Spirit kindness, love , forgiveness, discernment , patience , tongues and so on has nothing to do with your salvation ! Because he has a gift doesn’t mean everyone has that one . God the Father said man became a living soul , The Son said he was the Word and he said his Words are Spirit and Spirit lives forever. Have you ever wondered what the difference between a soul and Spirit is. If words are spirits, then, so are thoughts. If thoughts are spirit, then memories must be spirits that lives within the body / brain. The word of God that that’s dwelling within you is the door to the kingdom, the Holy Spirit is the key to that door. Which is sometimes why you hear scripture referred to as a passage someone opened a door. Someone called the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit, is what teaches and gives you understanding of all things through The Spirit of Christ Which is the word. He is to the soul, like the digestive track is to the body of flesh. That carries the nutrients that’s needed to the parts of the body as is needed. He holds all understanding of the word. Therefore, he brings us wisdom and understanding of the knowledge we’ve consumed. The knowledge comes from that which we obtain through the eyes and ears. Scripture says the eyes are the windows to the soul. That’s where we feed up on the spirits through all we see and read that which is written on the page the ears are the door to our soul, which is open to the spoken, word or spirits that dwell in memory, or of those spoken by the people around you, they are imprinted on the brain of the body which becomes “food for thought” so to speak. That food then enters the soul, and the soul is nourished according to what it eats. For example, it is either used or rejected by the soul just as meat, dairy and vegetables, etc. are by the body of flesh. Some people may believe they are the body or the brain, but that’s like saying a CPU is the computer as well as the operator.

It is up to the individual soul to choose what they consume as they hunt and gather what nourishes them, some become doctors or lawyers, even politicians and preachers but all souls are gatherers and hunters seeking nourishment for whatever their soul desires. Some may never understand that the knowledge they obtain is just like the food they put in the mouths of their body. Not all things are good for the mind body and soul.

Amazing contradiction. I love Wommack's ministry, but he spent quite a but of time describing who you really are, then turns around and says we must "die to self". That is a complete contradiction. We die to the old man, the carnal mind, that our "self" may manifest. Your true self cannot die, per the words of Jesus, and does not need to. This is a critical difference. Moreover, the analogy of the world melting us but we "get to choose" which mold we are poured in to seems off: we who have chosen Jesus have already made that choice... to suggest otherwise is to posit the idea of a will existing outside of His redemptive work. So... yes, on the inside (in the spirit) we are totally new, and yes - we die to carnality - but we do not die to self (that work is done.)

In Romans 12:1 we qre encouraged to be a living sacrifice . That is dying to self. It is not a matter of works or the law to be acceptable to God for salvation. It is a matter of being spititually effective in this life. Philemon 1:1

@Cat-sv7zu Romans 12:1 specifically refers to the body. I've checked several translations, and they are in agreement. We have a body, but we are not our body (i.e., it is not our "self.") This is specifically the point. ‭‭John 5:24 NKJV‬‬ [24] “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. " ‭‭Colossians 3:3 NKJV‬‬ [3] For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. ‭‭‭‭II Corinthians 5:17 NKJV‬‬ [17] Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

It's a desire to be more loving to others as my Father has been to me. Ii is nor so He will love me more or find me acceptable. The desire to deny selfish ways springs from my spirit.

The only distinction I would make is that what you and I are dying to is our carnal nature, not our true "self" (the reborn spirit.) We are essentially saying the same thing now. There are just so many Christians that continue to see themselves, fundamentally, as sinners, and do not understand this distinction. It might be more accurate to say we are "manifesting self" as we die to the old, carnal man. Blessings to you, and thanks for being so gracious.

I don't anything about Andrew Wommack. Never heard of him before listening to this sermon. I'm undecided. I'm careful who I listen to. He seems to be using scripture accurately. But every now and then he seems to hint at veering off into "You can do ANYTHING!" teaching. The apostle Paul said he was a "wretched man," not doing what he wanted to do and doing what he didn't want to do... but I'm still listening. One more thing. He refers to Todd a few times. He's not talking about Todd Bentley is he? If he is I need to wash my ears out. Oops. Wait a minute. So... being saved is different from being filled with the Holy Spirit and separate from being baptized with the Holy Spirit? And being baptized with the Holy Spirit means you WILL speak in tongues?... Never mind. Bye bye, Andy.
