Brian, this is where some( not all) of city crews and departments will tell the home owner even if the tree is on the boulevard that it is the property owners responsibility. The very same if there are branches and limbs causing or potential to cause electrical shorts by falling on live wires, there is a fine line(in front properties) between property owners responsibility and utilities company responsibilities . Something to keep in mind!

Marvelous, Brian!!! One thing to suggest to the people you assist is to cut the shrubs down to 3 to 6 inches below the bottom of a window. Law Enforcement recommends this as a safety precaution so would- be burglars can't use the bushes to conceal them going in a window. It might look raggedy until the bush fills back in, but The safety of our elders is more important in my opinion.
@eric_seguinАй бұрын
Kind of hard to cut straight edges when they are so overgrown and thick your edger can't even cut down to the concrete. As to the bushes, from here it looked like privet and I would have chopped it myself. You guys ROCK. Thanks for your hard work. Hope your dinner is still warm when you get home.

It is very fortunate that the tree did not injure the lady and it is very sad that it injured the kitten, and although my ginger cat is always with me at home, I would prefer that he have a place to hunt mice... away from falling trees. The appearance of the property now is magnificent although that trimming and repair of the edge of the grass reminds me that I have seen areas that also need grass renovation. I like the green on the ground. Great job.

I hate cat poop too. That’s the drawback to outdoor cats. I was once adopted by a stray cat that had been someone’s pet at some point in his life. I left my garage door cracked and bought him a litter box, a water dish, a food bowl and a cat bed (and even put a heating pad in it in the winter). Fed him twice a day with dry and wet food. He chased away all my chipmunks and squirrels and I did not have any mice or rats anywhere near my house. Loved that kitty for three years and then had to put him to sleep because he got feline leukemia. We had a good symbiotic relationship. He always stopped by when I was outside and had me pet him for a little while, then he was off on his adventures. He would not come in my house because my dachshund scared him off. I miss him and my dachshund is gone too now. I’m too old to train a puppy, so I’m looking for a small older housebroken dog who needs a home. I’m home a lot and would love a pet, but it needs yo be on the calmer side. No loud or hyperactive dogs, I couldn’t handle that. Maybe one will cross my path one day.
@TopNotchLawnsАй бұрын
Well, I hope that you can find one sounds like you had a good kitty and dog! It’s so hard when we lose our pet friends! And some cats just seem like that, just like a bit of Lovin, and then roaming the world
