Thank you, great comfort to have. Do you fish from a boat yourself ?
@kranob13 жыл бұрын
@@freak.fishing not yet anyway 😀 I’ve been considering it but i don’t know if I could justify owning my own. I rent a boat the odd time on Lough Allua if I’m after Pike and I’m a member of a trout lake in limerick that supplies boats as part of the membership. I’d love an aluminum boat like yours though to explore around Lough Derg. I can’t understand why aluminum boats are not as common here when compared to the standard lake boats.

@@kranob1 main reason apart from price is on the bigger lakes the lake boats are safer in big waves. But with the weather apps you can make sure your not out in storms 😅 maybe look into a float tube. They give great access to hidden lakes

@@freak.fishing will be deadbaiting. Water is high but has cleared up this week. Taking my son for the first time so he's hoping for a monster! Cheers!!

Nice video 👍 I was out yesterday and was shocked to see the water level so high. I managed to catch 2 jacks, and my friend 3,all on spinning and trolling. Now I have to teach him how to deadbait for pike 😁

Yes its been slow lately but still great to be finding fish, really makes you improve your fishing skills. Do you deadbait much .

Great video mate! You fishing over depth or on the float?
@freak.fishing3 жыл бұрын
Thanks James, was mostly fishing over depth but caught the second fish on one about 6ft from the float.

Craicking video.. it could be very challenging to catch a pike on flooded water. In which county you are fishing? This place looks familiar to me. 😀😀
@freak.fishing3 жыл бұрын
Thanks lad. Its very challenging but can be very rewarding when you catch somthing. In terms of the location I can't say for reasons for local anglers ect on all my videos. Thanks again for the kind words
