It is 2022 and Phil is still missed. He was one of those that only come around so often. His legacy will live on with his sons. Josh is doing a good job.

Boy this is the most subdued clip I've seen of Capt. John...at first I thought he was just a giant goofball, but the more I see of him the more it becomes clear that he really is an all around stand up guy, mature, interesting, intelligent, and to top it off, funny and cute as hell.

I always cringed whenever they showed Capt. Phil at the wheel smoking! It's so easy to say to quit but I'm sure it's so hard when you've smoked so long & smoke so much. Tobacco farmers have a lot of deaths on their hands! No sympathy for them. Let people sue them for their wicked ways! That'll stop 'em & fast. No limits to the payouts! Sleeping in a poor house will stop it fast. It kills. How can anything about that be good? Even those it doesn't kill it ruins their lives! Lung diseases are no joke! Cigarettes killed Capt. Phil, plain & simple! Josh & Jake, you better quit, too! You saw 1st hand how you'll die! Phil looked like crap when he died. He suffered! That's your fate to if you don't stop smoking! Good luck, boys!

I loved captain Phil, but c'mon man. The tobacco farmers didn't put the cigarettes up to Phil's mouth and light them man. They're just growing something that people want to buy. People that smoke are responsible for the effects it causes them.
