I don't think Sidney care that much about having to win another cup. The guy already have won everything and he doesn't need to prove to anyone. I think he's will retired as a Penguins no matter how bad they are.

I think Sid in Vancouver would be great. With Tocchet and Rutherford, he'd bring them close to serious Cup contenders sooner rather than later. Colorado would be ok, but Vancouver would be better.

why stop now empty the cupboards if things dont go well in 3 years you trade every one and re coup the picks. mathews gets you 2 firsts nylander gets you a 1st and prospect marner gets you a 1st + reilly a 1st plus minus any retention on any of these. they need more d depth.

Mock Pens fire sale. Trade Crosby, Guentzel, and Karlsson or Letang + goalie Ned to the Avs for Cale Makar and Valeri Nichushkin. Or Crosby to the Leafs for Marner. Or Crosby and Guentzel to Vancouver for Elias Petterson, Nils Hoglander, and T. Willander. Trade Malkin to the Caps for Ryan Leonard. Trade Letang to the Habs for Mike Matheson. Trade Reilly Smith to the Bruins for Jake Debrusk. Burn it down.

Cale Makar is untradable! There is no trade that would even cross Cmac or Joe’s mind, not even a straight up McDavid AND Draisaitl for Makar. they don’t make that trade. Untouchable! Not even for Mack’s homie, Sidney Crosby (who to me is arguably the greatest of all time) they won’t even think on it. Maybe when Makar is 37 and only producing 30% points per game
